16/6/2017 17:07 | Monday first thing may be the last chance to get some more at less than 60p. I'm already overbalanced here. Probably best not to get greedy. I will decide over the weekend. | shakeypremis
16/6/2017 17:06 | So the smart money is buying SDX, with another 5% of total shares taken out of circulation by a long-term institution. Excellent news. This stock has been overdue a re-rate for some time, I expect the wait is almost over. It isn't a coincidence they completed their purchase (at what appears to be a deliberately suppressed rate) just before the CPR is due to be released. Looks like this really is the last opportunity to buy on the cheap. This purchase won't have gone unnoticed by other institutions. | griffin81
16/6/2017 17:03 | What notification thresholds are there on SDX? Either way, even if they've been slowly accumulating or if they made a few large purchases in the last few days/week, it's still a huge vote of confidence. Who's to say they don't have more shares now too? | shakeypremis

16/6/2017 16:55 | Founded in early 2006, Highclere International Investors is a long-only international small and mid cap investment boutique with offices in London and Westport, Connecticut. Our sole purpose is to invest client funds in small and medium sized companies listed in markets outside North America. We focus on generating absolute returns for our clients over the long term, and are comfortable investing at the smaller, under-researched end of our universe. At Highclere we are very active in our investment analysis and travel the world seeking lesser known companies in which to invest. We are an independent firm, owned and controlled by our partners, and associated with Silchester Partners Limited. We run three closely related investment programs: an international smaller companies program launched in 2006; an international SMID program launched in 2008 and an emerging markets SMID program launched in 2013. All three programs are offered via commingled pools which are open to US and non US taxable and tax-exempt investors. Our investment team is led by Ed Makin, Portfolio Manager, who is closely assisted by Nikunj Hindocha, Portfolio Manager, and a team of eight global sector analysts. Ed Makin has over twenty nine years of investment experience, more than nineteen years of which have been dedicated to international small and mid cap investing. The team is supported by ten professionals dedicated to marketing, client service and operations. | tli8jaguar

15/6/2017 05:56 | TGG, between you and me, the average age of the HUR AGM attendee seemed to be about 95. Which may account for the general want for the shares to go up in price pretty sharpish. | haideralifool

14/6/2017 21:00 | Joseph Schachter is the reason I bought Sea Dragon (SDX) in the first place back in about 2010. I know he has shares of this company in his RRSP. The knock on him is that he is seen in the industry as a "promoter" rather than as an "analyst". However, that being said he seems quite knowledgeable. | vanmorrison60 |
