01/6/2017 07:44 | In some ways it's a shame they had to release two significant RNS statements during a week when the UK is on holiday. Some investors are going to have a lot to catch up on when they return to the UK this weekend. | griffin81
01/6/2017 07:18 | 1 June 2017 SDX ENERGY INC ("SDX" or the "Company") MOROCCO OPERATIONS UPDATE Award of The Gharb Centre exploration permit SDX Energy Inc. (TSXV, AIM: SDX), the North Africa focused oil and gas company, is pleased to provide an operational update on its Moroccan assets. The Gharb Centre exploration permit, covering an area of over 1362 km(2) , has been awarded to SDX for a period of eight years, with a firm commitment from SDX for the acquisition of 200km(2) of 3D seismic, and two exploration wells within the first four-year period. The Gharb Centre area comes with a considerable quantity of recently acquired 2D and 3D seismic which has established multiple target horizons throughout the Miocene-aged strata, similar to what the Company produces from in its surrounding licenses. The activity at Gharb Centre complements the work programmes at both Sebou and Lalla Mimouna, where development and exploration wells are planned for H2 2017, as previously announced. Pre-drilling activity is now underway in both permits where the tendering process for drilling rigs and associated services has been initiated. SDX has also received partner approval for seven drilling locations in these permits and is targeting a late Q3 2017 start date for the program. Paul Welch, CEO of SDX Energy, commented: "We are very pleased to have expanded our footprint in Morocco with the award of the Gharb Centre exploration permit. Given the amount of 2D and 3D seismic acquisition that has been undertaken in the past, we believe there is clear potential for material upside in this concession that can be easily tied into our existing infrastructure. This acreage connects the Lalla Mimouna exploration permit with the Sebou producing concession enabling us to see the complete basin picture and thus high grade the opportunity dataset that we develop. With our partner, the Office national des hydrocarbures et des mines (ONHYM), SDX now has a dominant commercial and technical position across the basin and we look forward to capitalising on the opportunities to grow our reserve and production base in Morocco. Our target is to fulfil the pipeline capacity coming out of the basin, which would entail the quadrupling of production from our current levels. This permit acquisition makes clear strategic sense to SDX, as this acreage brings significant synergies to our expanding asset base in Morocco." | someuwin
01/6/2017 07:08 | SDX really is flying on all fronts! Excellent news. | griffin81
01/6/2017 07:06 | RNS out: The Gharb Centre exploration permit, covering an area of over 1362 km2, has been awarded to SDX for a period of eight years, with a firm commitment from SDX for the acquisition of 200km2 of 3D seismic, and two exploration wells within the first four-year period. | haideralifool
31/5/2017 17:05 | Just read this on oil pro site regarding SDX and it's well results described in layman terms !!!http://oilpro.com | borg45
31/5/2017 15:10 | Your right of course DT it might have worked against me on other stocks but im sticking it out here cheers | tom111
31/5/2017 14:59 | The market is often designed to frustrate the hell out of you tom. This is a cracking little company and is continuing to deliver fantastic news. Looks like there is a seller being cleared at the moment - although I can sell a hundred and odd thousand within the spread currently so also looks we have a canny buyer.... | deltrotter
31/5/2017 14:49 | this share price movement is so frustrating considering everything | tom111
31/5/2017 13:45 | Great test results del but a little early for the Bollinger :) | captain james t kirk
31/5/2017 13:40 | Agree on the chart - bollinger bands tightening for a blow off top I reckon. | deltrotter
31/5/2017 13:01 | & me ! :-) | gisjob2

31/5/2017 12:57 | Malcolm is obviously asking the right questions :) | captain james t kirk
31/5/2017 12:53 | Agreed regarding the condensate, I always like the additional information you get from Malcy. South Disouqe is de-risking with every RNS and rapidly turning into a gold mine for SDX. The CPR due late June I expect will become the catalyst for a significant re-rate. I stated in a previous post I was calculating cash-flow in 2018 to be above $65 million (which included a successful SD-1X), I'm expecting that number to be exceeded now based on the flow-rates released at this stage of the testing. | griffin81
31/5/2017 12:31 | Looks like the chart is making a nice strong flag IMO, usually a sign of a strong move up once completed. | soulsauce
31/5/2017 12:31 | Just added another 25k @ 57.2p. | geoffmanana
31/5/2017 12:30 | griffin81, Looks positive. Still we need more with regards to composition and volumes. It will come. Cash | cashandcard
31/5/2017 12:28 | hiddendepths I totally agree. There just has to be a large seller imo. | geoffmanana
31/5/2017 12:23 | Thanks griffin very interesting so there is condensate. I think although this well has been very successful by any parameters, it is the information they have gleaned from this well about the greater SD that will turn out to be the most important and valuable as Malcy quite clearly alludes to. | soulsauce
31/5/2017 12:16 | I was told they are working on testing the condensate now and results will be included in the CPR.... There are limits to how much the market can ignore IMO... I foresee a rerate on the CPR which I would guess will include revenue forecasts and a HUGE increase in SDX's overall reserves. PW says this should be out by end of June.... I had a wee top up earlier... | deltrotter
31/5/2017 12:08 | Update from Malcy: SDX Energy SDX has announced the flow test results from the SD-1X South Disouq well, with 82 ft of net pay with 25% porosity the well was indeed a beauty. It flowed at a stabilised rate of 25.8 MMscf/d through a 48/64″ choke, restricted by land facilities, which was significantly above pre-drill estimates of 10-15 and had no water or sand which bodes well for production. A degree of sensitivity was used as locals were observing Ramadan so flare and noise was kept to a minimum and condensate samples were also taken. The company has come away with a lot of data to work on and must be delighted that this has gone so well with much more to come. Away from Egypt work is moving fast in Morocco and keeping Paul Welch and his team busy, and very happy. | griffin81
31/5/2017 11:55 | The share price is ridiculous. I have now built up a significant stake in SDX and this is my largest holding by far. I shouldn't really accumulate further, however I keep seeing the share price at £0.57 and keep thinking; in 24 / 36 months time, when the share price is above £3.00 per share, I will probably kick myself for not buying more.... So just a little nibble, but I've promised myself no more (until next time, lol) | griffin81
30/5/2017 22:25 | 9tintin - nothing negative - just a large seller! Let them out then the overhang is eliminated! | hiddendepths
30/5/2017 21:12 | Down only 3.7% in Canada so still up over 6% since yesterday,good sign | tom111 |
