28/6/2018 08:11 | They will surely also benefit from the UK building its own "Galileo" | zingaro
28/6/2018 07:05 | finnCap lift target price to 180p | slopsjon2
28/6/2018 06:48 | Nice they've specifically put paid to this: Contrary to some recent commentary in the financial press, SCISYS is not directly engaged in security-sensitive Public Regulatory Service (PRS) activities on the Galileo programme, which is a particular area where future involvement of UK companies has been threatened, as SCISYS' activities are directed at other areas of the Galileo programme. | yump
28/6/2018 06:46 | Excellent update. All divisions powering ahead. Any jitters around EU Space Station participation unfounded. This should bounce back today. Happy Holder! | martinthebrave
28/6/2018 06:43 | If the Annova future was that strong the vendors would not be asking for early repayment. No fireworks on this front then | zipstuck
28/6/2018 06:40 | Looks like a few panicked unnecessarily in the last couple of days. | yump
28/6/2018 06:38 | All looks good to me. Fears leading to share price weakness not substantiated. Strong cash generation, | melody9999
28/6/2018 06:33 | Looks like a very good announcement. I wonder why people were selling yesterday. I still think £2 is possible. | balancer

27/6/2018 10:24 | Sold these on the way up and been regretting it ever since. Delighted to get them back now..! Lucky break..! | joshgroeny
22/6/2018 15:39 | The price is down a bit, a lot of people must have 50% gains over the last six months, and 100% since last autumn so that is not unexpected. However with the agm next week there will be the usual announcement and it looks like it will be good. I will not be surprised to see the price back to 180 by the middle of July. 200 before the end of the year looks possible. | balancer
29/5/2018 15:50 | Lovely reversal at the close. Perhaps some day traders, banking on a bad day in the markets and euro-woes (Italy), got caught with their pants down. At least it shows that there are some eager buyers jumping in on the dips. | boadicea
29/5/2018 10:36 | Gven the recent share price fall, just reviewed my reasons for buying. The summary of 2017 results gives a lot of comfort. This is cheap given the growth on offer. RESULTS HIGHLIGHTS -- Revenues up 25% to GBP57.2m (2016: GBP45.7m), including professional fees 28% higher at GBP48.0m (2016: GBP37.6m) -- Adjusted operating profit up 44% at GBP4.6m (2016: GBP3.2m) -- Adjusted operating margin increased to 8% (2016: 7%) -- Adjusted basic EPS up 9% at 10.0p (2016: 9.2p) -- Statutory operating profit increased to GBP4.7m (2016: GBP2.8m) and basic EPS increased to 11.5p (2016: 7.6p) -- Net debt reduced to GBP5.9m (2016: GBP10.2m) -- Significant contract wins achieved in all divisions, including EUR18m ground station infrastructure award for the German Heinrich Hertz satellite-communicat -- Year-end order book 41% higher at GBP91.3m (2016: GBP64.6m) -- First-time contributor to results, Annova, achieves a critical milestone on its flagship BBC newsroom computer system contract and extends its customer base with N American win -- Full year dividend per share up 10% to 2.16p (2016: 1.96p) Commenting on the results and prospects, Mike Love, Chairman of SCISYS PLC said: "Our optimism and guidance for 2017 was well placed with the Group delivering a strong overall performance and entering 2018 with a record order book. Buoyant operational cash flows resulted in a substantial reduction in net debt and underpinned a healthy uplift in the recommended final dividend. Going into 2018 the outlook continues to be very encouraging" | melody9999
28/5/2018 11:59 | That's the market they're in. The key is to have a mix and/or to grow so that each contract, even if major, doesn't have a disproportionate effect and they're doing pretty well in that respect. The contracts are mixed across all division. Plus the major contracts are multi-year so its not like winning half the revenue in one year from one customer. Rating should be significantly higher than the average contractor. There's a number of companies given the 'contractor' label, which are actually somewhere inbetween providing repeat or longer term annual services and single projects. | yump
26/5/2018 18:14 | Must admit not keen on one off big contracts. | montyhedge
25/5/2018 14:43 | I'm hoping this is one of the ones I will be able to look back on and not see any major dips on the long term chart. Considering that we've had Brexit worries and worries about contracting in general, its done pretty well. Perhaps there'll be a 'golden' era... at least in SSY's market. | yump |
