Indeed. Seems as though my 1651 above had it pretty well right; but I'm even more pleased by the dividend news.

So at 52.35p the discount = 25.6% and the yield = 5.90%.

Yes a touch higher than I'd hoped - 70.4p, and divi back to pre-pandemic. SREI looks in rude health IMO.

Great set of results, NAV up 7% to 70.4p
Discount now over 25%
Dividend raised to 5.9%

Thanks @Flyer61.

Wouldn't expect it to affect eg rent collection, and leases will be repairing & insuring.

Only minor point would be if there's much vacant there that's SREI's.

Just a heads up. There was a very significant fire at Stanley Green this weekend. It appears however that it is not any of SREI's properties. SREI's are the other side of the road ie just to the north. It definitely impacted the whole of SREI's site though with roads closed over the weekend. There may well be some disruption to SREI tenanted properties as there was a large amount of smoke that drifted through them.

Mirandaj the NAV is baked in already what we will see without any bounce back is an increased discount although whether that holds up remains to be seen

The NAV and Dividend declaration on Monday will be interesting in the circumstances

Nexus - See Skinny's links below. The ex-div dates were in a presentation late last year if I recall correctly. If the say something that they later change it would be good manners to tell us and then buy some shares.

Surprising number of funds have some Ruakie exposure - and that's before you get to BP's 20% holding in Rosneft.

Guessing all the banks exposed too, both to Russian corporates and individuals.

REITs - port in a storm! (I hope).

If you have RAVP and it is only off 7%, I would consider getting out while you can. Russia sovereign CDS widened from 440 to 770bps. That is now higher than at its worst in 2008/9.

Russian equities generally off 30%!!

"Russia uninvestable IMO." Agreed; and always has been under madman Putin. Sad though for those income seekers who thought RAVP a nice high-yielding pref!

Seeing little to buy so far - SREI no lower than it hit the other day, other REITs the same.

Chuckling at MoneyWeek the week before last saying to buy JRS, as Ukraine crisis will probably blow over. Pushing -50% since.

Russia uninvestable IMO.

Not sure we want to see the update - even a good one - in this bloody market.

@shieldbug. I cannot see an RNS release declaring forthcoming dividend dates. Graham Basham recently picked up 6,000shares on 3 December 2021 (record date for last divi) & 9,000 on 22 February 2022. From where did you get your info.?

The day before they said they would go ex-div, with no dividend declared and just a pointer to a NAV update next week a director buys 9000 shares on weakness in share price. Shabby.

One of the NED's Graham Basham has picked up 9k shares been a modest buyer on and off over last 12mths.

Lol yes, reminiscent of the saying on gold - "Put 10% of your portfolio into bullion, and hope it doesn't go up".

Not the worst hedge I reckon, tho never too keen on the Dailys - can't be in them long!

Went for BRNT myself, but not a big hedge.

Certainly hard to understand the drop, with divi and NAV update imminent, happy to have a few more at 53.

But also happy to have hedged with a little XSD2 - hopefully sanity will prevail and it will lose me money though!

Coming back into range? Seem to have too many of all the REITs already. But fortunate to want to hold them for the divis & asset-backing regardless. Wouldn't fancy holding anything too speculative in this uncertain market, nor be too geared. Putin seems keen to remind the world he's nuclear-capable.
