From the RNS :

5. Number of shares / amount of stock acquired : 7,047,778

6. Percentage of issued class (any treasury shares held by the listed company
should not be taken into account when calculating percentage) : 4.868%


12. Total holding following this notification : 10,947,778

13. Total percentage holding of issued class following this notification (any
treasury shares held by the listed company should not be taken into account when
calculating percentage) : 7.56%

Which would suggest they had 3,900,000 shares before, or 2.69%.

L&G have brought their entire stake off another institutional shareholder. If you check the major shareholders the size announced today corresponds with another shareholders holding. Its a non-event really.

I don't think so - 4.86% it says now, previous holding according to Proquote was 5.67%

No, not that I know. I don't think they nered to be, SCPA board seem to be doing all the right things since Hanover got here so it seems Hanover have the board's ear.
