Works where other Chemo failed in the past. No side effects. Company has perfected their lead compounds to a point where it can be brought to market in much quicker time frame. You just need to recent RNS for both VAL401 and VAL201 and recent Proactive investors interviews & podcasts. 23/12/2017 01:55 | Hi DRD. I've been listening to Talksport lately - it's good. SCIB1 combo - the idea was floated on LSE that maybe the USA side of CRUK might get involved with that trial. IMO that would be great. I'm a staunch admirer of RG. That said - a change of face after many years may do us well and I'm sure Cliff Holloway will take us forward. In Th. Xmas Day is more or less a normal working day. Some shops like Tesco Lotus, have Xmas features and Restaurants might have Xmas trees and Santa stuff. I'm in a small City but anywhere around the Tourist spots or BKK you can get a proper Xmas dinner. Look at this menu in Korat - where I used to live. ''Chez Andy Swiss Restaurant & Steak House Christmas Eve Sunday 24th December & Christmas Day Monday 25th December Menu: Duck and chicken liver terrine with Cumberland sauce, consommé soup with sherry, feuilleton with parmesan, deep fried fillet of fish with tartare sauce and parsley potatoes, refreshing mango sherbet with peppermint liqueur Black Angus beef tenderloin “Bordelaise Pork steak with mushroom sauce and a bouquet of vegetables served with noodles Assorted cheese platter with fruit, crackers and dark bread, vanilla ice cream topped with hot berries, cookies, coffee or tea, Swiss pear schnapps Price per person: 1,300 Baht (Chez Andy members' discount: 990 Baht - sign up for the card to get the discount)'' With the discount, that's £25 !! Lovely but 340 km away. I'll be at 'Steve's Bar' at Laemsing beach with 8 friends and a box of red. But I miss the UK (and Korat) at this time of year. If you are 'dreaming' of Thailand or France, take care. Great care. ATB | torquayfan
23/12/2017 00:21 | Evening Torquay Quite timely as listening to Talk Sport Hawksby and Jacobs Xmas show where they invite listeners in they had a Torquay United Quiz which sure you would have won. Yes agree very much on SCIB2 but still overhang on Who pays for SCIB 1 Combo trial and what news on Moditope. Hope Cliff Holloway is decent guy but was there a promise at AGM about promising him funds for start of PF his tenure. Understand you live in Thailand and sounds like paradise but then Loz sounds like he has a great life in France. I can only dream unless this comes good but hopefully we will he good news soon to get rid off this awful disease and help supplement my current earnings Is Xmas much different but in Thailand apart from the obvious. | drdobson1
22/12/2017 22:56 | Hello DRD. Surely the CRUK announcement HAS dealt with the funding issue for SCIB2 trial(s). Whilst it is surprising that the share price has not lifted off, on the real strength of that - more news is soon to come, hopefully. Patience and Happy Xmas to you and to all. | torquayfan
22/12/2017 20:15 | Merry Xmas one and all. Great to be back after a little spell out of circulation. ASTUTE have been proved right again.Despite the positive CRUK announcement the share price has drifted back and until the funding issue is addressed it will remain so. | drdobson1

22/12/2017 12:26 | P S It is noticeable Nappy, that at least, YOU apply the same PATHETIC level to YOUR attempted 'witless sarcasm'... that YOU employ in YOUR 'councel' in investing and science matters. | the real lozan
22/12/2017 11:52 | "Oh, it's Datdyk again " The only poster who is as popular on any VAL forum, as HE is here. And As *WE* see.... just about as CON structive. Pray tell *US* Nappy - Did YOU serve YOUR whole sentence ... or are YOU out { for now}... 'On Probation' ??? | the real lozan
22/12/2017 11:22 | Lozan is covered in paint, a quick way his wife found to get a redecoration before xmas, knowing he will bounce off the walls ... Well done Mrs Lozan for being so "astute" you saved money on the paint brush and made your husband camouflaged for the festive day .. Happy Xmas PS happy Xmas VAL holders Maybe we should re-post the support lozan gave Yoda ... as an end of season montage | inanaco
22/12/2017 08:19 | Hello Terrorble. What does 'on minute' mean ? If you mean 'one' minute - you need a new watch. C7 knows me well enough, I'll take issue when I disagree. But for now - peace and goodwill to all men. Even you. However, as you seem to be terror by name and nature - filtered ! Lovely. | torquayfan
22/12/2017 07:05 | Torquayfan - you are the biggest hypocrite. On minute you are fighting with C7 and the next minute you are crawling up his @ss. Back in your box please | terror
21/12/2017 23:34 | C7 - it does look like a quiet Christmas for you but I'm sure there'll be some bright spots. And yes you keep punching like that Lady - fifteen years sounds like a good ticket, (particularly at my age). Good luck to her and to you. The reason I use the filter for T and L is, for me there is nothing in their posts, just the same negative points couched in real nastiness. It doesn't affect me much but IMO it does affect them - to be that way. So better IMO not to encourage it a single jot. Sounds a bit lofty, but that's my attitude. For Inan it's water off the back and he has some sport with it. That's up to him of course. Nice fat RNS and some blue today? Maybe not. ATB | torquayfan
21/12/2017 06:07 | TF, easy for me to do, as I have often said to you the problem was mine and inanacos initially. Choosing to spend this Xmas at home, I have no family, and almost all of my friends are away in exotic locations. I haven"t been out for fourteen weeks anyway. Actually looking forward to it, in a funny way, computer will be off!! Got a very inspirational message from a big holder here, we have kept in touch over the years. His wife was given six months to live with leukemia, then labelled "terminally ill", still receives treatment and those prognosis were fifteen years ago. Cancer is just a small part of my problems really. I don"t filter anybody TBH, don"t see the point, nobody can bother me enough anymore, people say the fact that many remain anonymous gives them a platform to say and be anything. Having met and been in touch with over fifteen LTHs I would say posters come over as they really are, sometimes the ones we dislike the most just have the same faults as you have, nobody is that comfortable with a mirror image, so as you say concentrate on their good points, we all have many. Have a peaceful holiday period. | chelsea35
21/12/2017 00:01 | Hi Inan. That's the thing, with the filter on, I won't see any 'sensible but pessimistic' moment again. But you might - so in that case, please frame it. Maybe I am thinking back many years to when T was posting on LSE . . . maybe I'm just trying to see the best in Folks at this time of year. Tick tock and HX you too. | torquayfan
21/12/2017 00:00 | t/f on the lse you sent your email link ... rather than a link to something Happy Xmas Lozan ... your blood sweat and tears poured over that keyboard through out the year, again go unnoticed well done ! Great Pic 2017 "the closed down village" | inanaco
20/12/2017 23:53 | Tf, cough, sensible ... Oh! "the see the light campaign" really did not see you as religious, please advise if you spot one of these sensible but pessimistic moments again. We should frame it ..Happy Xmas | inanaco
20/12/2017 22:52 | C7 - I write to you in this 'season of goodwill' with my very best wishes - it has to be on here because I deleted your email address, as you instructed, some time ago. I hope you have a good Christmas holiday and some fun with friends. It's good that you tell us how you are - I was sorry to hear of your latest concern but, of course, am right behind you in your punching ! (In front would be dangerous). Maybe we can enjoy a better 2018 on the BB's with less points of disagreement arising. I hope so. AND some fat gains too please. Keep the faith and ATB | torquayfan
20/12/2017 22:41 | Inan. I do 'let them (T and L) drone on' - both on permanent filter because the posts are just bitter and repetitive. I get curious sometimes but I do resist. This means of course I might miss the odd sensible but pessimistic point from Tosh,(amidst the bile), but that's the price. As for Lozan - no regrets - he has nothing to say for me. Here's to a Happy Christmas to you all here and a much better year ahead, with some fat gains and some good chat, in 2018. ATB to all. Apologies to Goy - apparently I biggered up his phone screen with my link to - 'Christmas day in the trenches'. In my defence, the link does work ! Hopefully. | torquayfan
20/12/2017 19:53 | Lozan, Very true. Which is why I feel a cashcall will come in 2018. Just a question of when and for how much. Also why I think the 9-10p range could return . | agema
20/12/2017 19:45 | Just a couple of observations / questions, for folks to ponder-on = Given that 'doing sums' is NOT Nappy's 'strong suit' { perhaps that is why HE tends to edge towards an 'open-ended' topic like unproven 'science'} there are questions in and around the 'maths' here. *WE* are being told, that SCLP CAN "Buy Back" something of import, at sometime in the future, maybe for a sum - as yet unknown.... Asuming the 'trials' will take a year / years to complete ...ERGO, the company MUST carry-on in the meantime = Running costs are required to continue to be met { FOR an unspecified length of time}... The question is = WHERE do the FUNDS come from, in an unspecified time, to pay-out an unspecified ammount, for unspecified data ??? Perhaps these 'questions' have not by-passed the market Maybe, this is WHY the S P is where it is { and FALLING } . Only a fool would ignore the signs / questions... or 'invent reasons to ignore them' | the real lozan |
