It seems to me that Anyone who sits and repeats ad nauseam the view that the science is way out in front of anything else in the market (not just Better but world/universe beating and it cannot in anyway fail)is effectively not only demonstrating but underlining their contempt for the SCLP BOD's inability to commercialise their IP.
If this sort of stuff had been going on for a few months (as was the case in 2012/13) it would be difficult to support the earlier statement (re contempt) but since it's been going on for nearly six years I fail to understand the disconnect between the perceived magnitude of SCLP's USP and the failure of a succession of BOD "saviours" to commercialse this "worldbeater".
Either the product's not as outstanding as we're led to believe, or the BOD are not as outstanding as we're led to believe?
OR Maybe, the product's good but not as good as it's been puffed up to be, or maybe BIG pharma aren't quite as keen on building stakes in companies BEFORE it's realistically sensible to do so....
Wonder which of those options applies?

As predicted on here, 8p was seen, NOT £1 or £8, 8p, and the reality is that it could drop even further unless the BOD pull something meteoric out of the bag ( unlikely ).

Tosh, yes it was disappointing but not surprising that on a day of emotion and wound licking he turns up with a load of irrelevant claptrap. One might expect, from the self professed "expert" a little perspective, hope, revised expectation or dare I say, humility. But no, none of the above.The prediction of SCLP being worth £4B by 2020 not looking likely (if ever it was).A case of someone completely oblivious to what they don't know.AIMHO.

Of course the BOD should, and will, shoulder responsibility for the current mess.
No one can tell me that this was not known about some time ago, and if it wasn't, then that makes it even worse.
It is the responsibility of our BOD to do what they have signed up to, and to do it on time. They are also obligated to keep us informed, they have done neither.
It is total incompetence on their behalf, and any residue of support from a lot of investors, will have leaked away over the last 24 hours... rightly so...

Contrary to the single celled idiots posts, the BOD are absolutely responsible, and contrary to anyone elses posts , in the event that the FDA negotiations are protracted ( a very real possibility ) and the CRUK bid is unsuccessful, SCLP will be in major trouble, and theres every chance that a fire sale would ensue.

The whole thing stinks... how do they have the audacity to pay themselves such elevated salaries, when they deliver zero... its scandalous !

I see the Inane one has re-emerged telling everybody how much better our Science is than anyone else's. This science is so good that Big Pharma have spent the last 6 years banging the doors down to get a deal. This Science is nowhere near as good as it's purported to be. Scancell are in an absolute boom industry , where deals are done on a weekly basis for hundreds of millions including pre-clinincal tech yet Scancell can't get one single deal. They sign a collaboration with Biontech that gives them an exclusivity option but can't even negotiate an upfront payment for that exclusivity, the BOD are incompetent beyond belief and are then rewarded extravagantly for failure after failure at the expense of the very Investors that they have spent the last 6 years shafting.

thats not the point, and you know it.
The ludicrous claims continually made by posters over on the other place have been shown to be totally incorrect again, and those of us who have been more realistic have been vindicated, once again.
There are still fundamental issues with the company and the way its been managed and plundered over the last 8 years or so.
The blind faith of many over there is at the detriment of not only the BB, but also the company itself.
This is NOT a slam dunk, this is a very risky baby bio that has potential. All this talk of £8 coming soon, or £1 tomorrow blah blah blah, has been shown time after time to be utter nonsense.
Nobody minds a positive attitude, but when such claims are made, and even worse, put forward as matters of fact, then someone has to do something.
Once again those of us that understand the markets a bit better, have been proven to be correct, and far from £8 or £1, 8p, as predicted, has been hit.

There is a long way to go before anything like £1 will be achieved, in fact, unless one of the 2 present major obstacles are negotiated successfully, 8p will look overpriced, and a fire sale WILL happen.
So lets stop the nonsense and start to counter the rubbish posted by some people.
