Seagull, virtually every report from share price Angel has written on SAV has included the caveat that it is stretching itself a bit thin, and the rest always seems to be a cut and paste from the rns.Not sure that they look too far beyond the dust cover and reviews of the book as they rather clearly haven't bothered to read up and understand the Omani dynamics here.

there is already a copper processing plant/concentrator in our block and I thought they were going for shallow mining first for a quick initial return to help fund more expensive recovery later down the line ?

A viewpoint from share price Angel:-

"Conclusion: While these are good looking results it is normal to drill relatively high grade mineralisation in VMS projects where they are found.
Savannah has stated it wishes to fast-tracking its Oman projects for late 2017 copper concentrate production and we hope the joint venture partners in Oman, Al Thuraya LLC (Block 4) and Al Fairuz Mining (Block 5) will contribute to the capital cost of a copper concentrator and that sufficient water is available to support its operation. Savannah is aiming for 151,500-702,500to of contained copper and 55,000-362,000oz of gold.
It will take some effort to build a mine and plant for production in Oman and with a new lithium project in Finland and a mineral sands jv in Mozambique the company may be stretching itself a bit thin."

NORTHLAND CAPITAL PARTNERS VIEW: A very set of positive assay results from Savannah Resources with these holes returning some of the broadest and highest-grade intersections at the Oman Project to date. The results point toward a potential expansion of the current high-grade sections of Mahab 4 and Maqail South that form part of the current mineral resource estimate of 1.7mt at 2.2% Cu. An updated mineral resource estimate, due to be published before the end of the year will be an important milestone for the Company.

Another great RNS today and still on for production by end of 2017

From the map the grades are the best in the region and smack bang next to the copper smelter/concentrator. PLus the Brucie bonus of zinc and gold to sweeten things even more.

Maybe the SAV story will now register on a wider audiences radar ! 4p is a steal with so much more news flow to come and a lot in the final quarter of 2016.

With AIM shares its sorting the chaff from the wheat with jam tomorrow stories, but the pieces of the jigsaw and nice picture on the box lid makes things all apparent here. Then add Mozambique with Rio, the new lithium project in Finland and things are looking fantastic !!!

Today sees a bounce off the bottom of the upward trend channel and as can be seen in the main chart above!

The bottom of the trend would indicate a low of 5p by the year end (possible mid 5's for top end of the channel) and which should tie in nicely with the RNS's due to be released between now and then.

Slowly and surely !!!

yep - looking good and with DA once again re-iterating a late 2017 start for the mine then things are lining up nicely.



Further news this quarter from Moz and Finland should help give the share price a bit of a push in the next 10 weeks too.

proactive interview was good. Oman drilling results imminent, will see a scoping study very early next year I would think in order to meet the end of '17 timeline.

Money in the bank, tile to crack on with both projects in parallel with lithium project humming in the background. Should have two scoping studies to look forward to in the next few months. Both should give an indication of financials at a high level.

Not quite the reaction I was hoping for. DA will likely need to get on the circuit again to get this message out there. Anything with RIO connected to it is significant for a tiddler like SAV.

All the early drilling has been done, straight to scoping study. That is significant. Speeds things up massively.

That's the game changing RNS and after a long 15 month wait!!!



So i'll go for the high 5's today as work can start immediately and with the only change being the formation of a stand alone consortium for this.

That must have been the sticking point with the Moz Government and now that they have given the nod things can move on quickly. Mining licence should come through soon too.

Todays going to be fun !!!
