This transaction is far from ideal but it has been born from necessity IMO. Before this there was no real visibility concerning either of the possible pipeline routes (south, or west into Nigeria), therefore no clear and tangible prospect of selling the Agadem oil. This deal is all about pipelines and therefore unlocking the oil (together with some useful cash flow from Seven assets on the side .. but not the key part of the deal). How successful it will turn out we will have to see .. it's certainly complex! GLA ...

The proposed transaction will take 4-5months nothing about it not relistinf earlier as the admission document is being worked on and updates expected in the coming weeks. We may relist and drill.

In summary

We appear to be lending all of our money, and more, to a bunch of Nigerian bankrupts?
No mention of how we will pay for this madness?
And I can't see what we might get in return.
If it doesn't go through how do we get our money back?

I'm hoping this is something to do with the cheese I ate last night and I'm just having a very realistic nightmare.

Yes you are right. It's very immature of me to worry about a substantial investment being suspended for a deal I did not invest for ,hear NOTHING from the company in 5.5 months and being only a few weeks away from de-listing.

If you are seriously worried, then you really need to examine whether you have the temperament to invest in small oil and gas companies.

What has surprised me, is the absolute nonsense posted by several posters, including those who I thought were more mature balanced individuals.

We’ve also seen how a knowledge of the industry is yet again of very little benefit in investing.

Nobody has any evidence whatsoever, not one iota, that we will lose our investment here. It’s absolute garbage. It just goes to show that people will write any old nonsense when they are frustrated and things are not going their way.

Comments about AK not knowing one end of a drill from something or other is completely irrelevant. He has invested £4m of his own money here. I think he is a winner, and people will see that when it all comes out in the wash.

If there is one major downside to the delay, it’s all the time available for immature characters to vent their spleen.

As is the way, these individuals will be the most fawning and irrational in their positive response when the news finally reaches us.

Except for ADUK of course. He has his toys primed and ready to be tossed from the pram when he’s allowed to, regardless of the news.
