Oh dear. Sales & payment Slippages seem a habit with this terrible management team. The one earlier in the year should have been a warning sign.

Sold for a whacking 60% loss. This company is a fraud and should be held accountable.

I blame myself as the warning signs were there. The only good thing is this was a smallish position but still a lot of money.

I can see this getting much worse if it ever recovers.

Fraud and they continue to pump hot air.

They have really stitched up shareholders with this IPO!!!The stock market really should be investing All the advisors and the management for this disaster/fraud. They just took this public! They must have known this was a dog when they sold it to the public. Rip off & massive underperformance of UK market is not suprise given a string of ponzi's & frauds against shareholders like this all too common in the UK markets and especially on AIM.

Have to laugh at announcements like that. Future business is going to be mega, possible contracts here there and everywhere.....but, umm, this year is going to be an absolute shocker.

WOW. PROFIT WARNING ALREADY!!!What a long winded & weasel worded RNS that finally gets round to saying:-"As a result of these project delays, it is now expected that FY23 full-year revenue will be not less than GBP13m, substantially below current market expectations, with a corresponding impact on FY23 losses."

They said on webinar other month no need for short term cash, longer to medium term they might make use of bank facilities.

You could say that about any company. Going public and floatation was their cash call.. they did alright for 20 years prior to this. I think your concerns about a cash call are the basic concerns to any investor (not this particular stock)....

Yes I do. Have been since shortly after listing. I like the story, but harbour concern that there may be a cash call no matter what management say. Patience needed as news will drive this and that is impossible to predict. An inevitable takeover target, but too small at this point in development.

“Having a custom SoC means that you have a unique solution that incorporates your special differentiating technologies and is very hard to copy,” said Graham Curren, founder and CEO of Sondrel, a contract chip designer in the U.K

Apple’s a good example of a newcomer that designed its own SoCs—first for smartphones and then for PCs—and reaped huge benefits.

The company started by asking Samsung to implement some of its custom IP into an application processor for its iPhones in the late 2000s, but then quickly established its own chip-development team and started to design highly complex mobile SoCs with custom CPU microarchitectures and accelerators to add value to its iPhones, iPads and things like Apple TV set-top boxes. More recently, the company started to build SoCs for its PCs, again incorporating a variety of custom IP to get both lower power and longer battery life and higher performance in demanding applications.

wow

Sondrel chose The SHD Group as it provides its clients with access to top-level contacts within the Silicon Valley community. “Any deal worth many millions for the design and supply of a new chip is decided at the topmost levels of a company,” said Derek Meyer, Founder and CEO of The SHD Group. “We have a team that has successfully closed numerous, multi-million-dollar agreements so we know that it takes building relationships and trust between supplier and customer. Furthermore, we have done our own research on Sondrel’s Architecting the Future solution and we believe that their approach, incorporating the SFA platforms, reduces design and schedule risk for customers, giving Sondrel a big edge over competition.”

With the USA’s CHIPS act in place, many American companies are keen to create new, secure supply chain models. Sondrel, based in the U.K., is ideally positioned to provide full turnkey services that meet this need.

It’s no secret that system companies are driving a lot of new silicon. Google, AWS, Tesla and others have well-established design teams delivering differentiated servers, AI engines and other technologies.

Sondrel, a UK ASIC design services company, has provided an answer for many years to such clients, growing to be the biggest digital Design and Supply and ASIC design services organization in Europe.

Damn right. If they begin to hit 100m revs in a couple years like forecast - just compare it with stuff like AWE, or GUC Global Unichip corp on Taiwan exchange (who they mentioned as a mid tier peer in a recent webinar)

Nice news. Next milestone on the contract.. in May it stated.. Sondrel expects typical production volumes for each contract to deliver revenue of GBP10m to GBP100m per annum and the contract with the Tier 1 OEM Automotive customer could deliver production revenue at the upper end of this range.

By the way, looking at shareholders.. around 80% of this is held by directors and major shareholders now. That co who went tr1 other week, Sarasin and partners seemed to gobble up a lot of what was remaining loose float. It's probably why it's moving up and down on relatively little volume now. The swings could get pretty wild on a big news item haha https://ir.sondrel.com/investors/shareholder-information

I bought in at 50 but was adding all the way up to 65. Lets hope 60 is a point of resistance.. not sure why there are suddenly so many sells either. It must be the profit taking I guess as the volume is still quite low.
