15/11/2016 09:29 | • NNPC redeploys 124 staff, appoints Ughamadu as spokesman The end of oil and gas exploration might be nearer than imagined, said Yemi Osinbajo. The Vice President voiced this concern yesterday in Abuja at the presentation of three books written by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu. He anchored his worries on breakthroughs in the sector, especially the discovery of shale oil in commercial quantities in the United States. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), meanwhile, has announced Ndu Ughamadu as its spokesman. He replaces Garbadeen Mohammed, amid a redeployment of 124 staff. Osinbajo said the popularity of emerging technologies like solar and electric-powered vehicles was pushing hydrocarbons into irrelevance amid rapid depletion. According to him, the trends leave Nigeria no choice but diversify its economic base. He said: “As we move to diversify our economy, we are particularly aware that we need oil to get out of oil. Yet, our window of opportunity to benefit maximally from the petroleum industry is narrowing. “The development of shale oil, which the author spent considerable time on, increasing breakthroughs in renewable energy use, the speed of expansion in the use of electric vehicles – Japan now has more electric charging stations than gas stations – all point to the fact that the party might be over sooner than we expected.” | o1lman

14/11/2016 18:49 | It's often stated that LSD causes hallucinations, but that's not quite true. When a person has a hallucination, he or she believes that everything that he or she sees and feels is real. LSD changes the way people perceive the world around them, as well as what they think and feel, but people on LSD don't see things that aren't there. They see what's already there in a different way, and most of the time, they're aware that their altered perceptions are caused by the drug. | o1lman
14/11/2016 18:47 | Ceteris Paribus - 20 Feb 2016 - 20:55:10 - 27614 of 28267 San Leon Energy - The New Positive Thread - SLE Well done LSD - I think it's pretty obvious that CT = Oilman, as I was kwidzyn on LSE - that's the facts. There has never been any opacity regarding it. So, congratulate yourself as being able to actually underscore what we have genuinely tried to communicate to you all along. Maybe I'll put you forward for the Nobel piece prize as you have secured the basic premise of a kernel of logic that you are able to understand what has been told to you all along. Let's keep up the momentum, and onto your next assignment for another leap of enlightenment in your severely restricted interpretation of the world around you - if I dropped a lead weight off the leaning tower of pisa would it fall to the ground or would it float? | o1lman

Do u hedge the share price as Linksdean did ? guess by ramping over 4 boards 24/7 u don't. | o1lman
14/11/2016 18:36 | Oil prices would likely hold at around $40 per barrel for the next few years, the head of the Central Bank of Russia .............. now if the head of the Central Bank of Russia is correct or even 20% out, Erotron will struggle to pay back their loans and production will not increase as there will be very little free cash flow to re-invest. Jam tomorrow will become even further away. | o1lman |
