Oil prices fell to touch the three-month intraday low Monday with the brief stability in global markets that followed the U.S. presidential election giving way to revived concerns about oversupply.
U.S. crude for December delivery recently lost 49 cents, or 1.1%, to $42.93 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Its low trade of $42.55 from just after 8 a.m. ET tied the lowest price since mid-August. Brent, the global benchmark, lost 39 cents, or 0.9%, to $44.36 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.
Most of the negativity comes in one way or another by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, analysts said. Most remain deeply skeptical that OPEC will be able to cut production to between 32.5 million and 33 million barrels a day, as it proposed in late September.
Several members and potential ally Russia have all increased production dramatically in just the less than two months since then. It demonstrates how aggressively competitive for customers and how reliant on oil revenue those countries, undermining the chances of cooperation that has repeatedly lifted oil prices from lows throughout 2016, analysts said.
"That narrative has finally run its course. Finally, no one believes OPEC will get it together," said Stephen Schork, editor of energy trade publication the Schork Report.
With OPEC members staking out claims to their territory, the cartel produced 33.64 million b/d in October, according to Germany's Commerzbank. This has caused global oversupply to reach 950,000 b/d and means that OPEC will have to cut more production than anticipated when it meets in Vienna on Nov. 30.
Other market watchers believe that OPEC should abandon its pledge to cut production as it becomes more apparent that the proposed cuts are almost impossible to impose and enforce.

San Leon will receive a minimum 65% enhanced cash sweep of Martwestern's production proceeds from OML 18 to cover the timely repayment of debt incurred to finance the total acquisition cost.

the placing was for 221 mill u$ and the value of the loan note is 173 mill u$, so that's 48 mill u$ spent and gone to money heaven.
of the 173 mill loan SLE owns 40% of Bidco and therefore owes itself 69 mill u$.
remember this is SLE world where nothing ever is u were told.

Eroton continues to accrue cash from OML 18 operations into the Debt Service Reserves Account ("DSRA") attached to the existing Reserves Based Lending ("RBL") facility. Cash flow to San Leon will begin once sufficient funds have accrued in that account, whereupon the Company will initiate its policy of returning 50% of Nigerian free cash flow to shareholders. The Company is well-advanced in reviewing the steps required to effect a capital reorganization which is required to allow such distributions.

of course according to the company they haven't 'earned' a half eaten mars bar.

now if the ubers really believed in the assets they wouldn't need to 'talk them up' they would wait until they were proved, the proof being an actual flow test, not a projection of a projection and then tell the world about how good the asset is. They wouldn't have been able to post anything for the last 5 years but would have been too busy quietly accumulating the shares.
Now the problem is that SLE having spent most of the cash haven't got the cash to actually put anything into production, if u don't believe me lets talk Turkey, so not only now do u need an actual flow test u also need the cash to put it into production, before u can tell the world how good the asset is.
Just a precautionary note the flow test just tells u how much the well flowed not how long it will flow at that rate.
On a positive note the long term holders can only lose another ten per cent of their investment where new buyers could easily lose 90% of theirs.

not according to our NOMAD, the question u need to ask yourself is.
do u really want to invest your hard earned in a company that posted a 218 million loss without warning their shareholders that the losses accumulating were going to be huge.

I would say they know far more than you as your the one crying every day under various avatars about what sle are at etc!! you make out you made 30% yet cry about sle on a daily basis nah!!..your posting history proves you got a problem with sle on a loss basis not a profit one..

those losses in poland can be put against tax..the monies made from Nigeria will be far more than the ammounts made or lost in Poland albeit it is unfortunate Poland made nowt..in the future who knows??..but rawicz will when it comes on tap!.. though at present sle are earning out of Nigeria.. so no worries! for shareholders!!..unlike you fig he hee!!

according to our NOMAD going to take a lot of years, not strange that none of the rampers saw the 218 million loss coming, that might be a warning in itself.

Field development continues to progress and Palomar is finalising a full development plan to be submitted to the Polish government for approval. Pipeline, facility and final project engineering are nearly complete, while all required permits, rights-of-way and regulatory approvals are being obtained. Gas off-take agreements are being negotiated with several groups. The operator's development plan now envisages at least three wells available for first production (including Rawicz-12 and Rawicz-15), now expected in early 2017.
