A bit pointless doing that, on such a high volume share. But then when has there ever been any point to montyhedge.

with all this talk of stock-piling drugs and GSK's share price cannot even rise !

Lord Lucan, why would you want to buy at £10, its going much lower....

GSK will continue its downtrend and i will be looking at sub 10.00 soon.

btw; monty talks utter rubbish. he's made the mistake of buying and is trying to ramp this.

Summed up perfectly Oneeyedjack01! Defensive stocks will have their day in the sun again very soon. From a technical point of view, this stock is also rock bottom and very good dividend. I also used to work for GSK for 14 yrs. The two mergers (GW, then GSK) have been difficult for the company to absorb, but lets just say that this recession provides the perfect opportunity for the company to FINALLY make the necessary reorganisations to streamline the company. The innovative way R&D was reorganised into CEDD's was longterm thinking, and will start to pay off soon. Pipeline is amazing.

ogmc.

I have bought quite a lot of these recently. I am figuring they really are at the bottom of a trading range and that considering these pay a healthy dividend and make large profits along with a bit of a kick re flu that they are a good purchase now. I realise duh the banks / financials are en vogue right now but figure they will run out of steam soon. Also the markets have had a huge run up and are due to correct somewhat lower these also have an added defensive quality to them. All in all I see many positives.

Is this how you see it or how other?

Thanks

As I have stated here many times now, £10-30 is suppport now. Look and learn. It will trade between this and resistance (£10-50) until something gives....my guess is £10-50 will be broken again and then, finally become support. Shareprice is on its way up.

Wow. Really bouncing between two support levels now (£10-30 and £10-50). May well stay in the range all day to consolidate. Lets see what the dynamic of the trades are in this range at the end of the day.

PHASE 5
The same virus causes sustained community-level outbreaks in two or more countries in one region.
While most countries will not be affected at this stage, the declaration of Phase 5 is a strong signal that a pandemic is imminent and that the time to finalise the organisation, communication, and implementation of the planned mitigation measures is short.

"a pandemic is imminent" once a phase 5 is called as it has it is only a matter of time now before Phase 6 is declared.
