15/10/2014 17:18 | Are my eyes deceiving me! This is heading north while most stuff is moving rapidly south - good to see anyway. | gswredland
13/10/2014 10:24 | As the market rebounds I'm sure this will return to 170-190p and continue from there. The current price is laughable. I think it will reach it's broker targets of 235-265p in time - I mean it has to with it's adverts! :-) | lozler
10/10/2014 20:03 | tanlorn - have similair taste. Own Catlin also, for similair reasons as SFE. Low PE & excellent divi etc. Patience will pay out.. | jakedog2
10/10/2014 16:16 | Hope the recognition is reflected in the share price .....at some point!.DD | discodave4
10/10/2014 15:39 | Thanks for the article paleje. Good to hear they are getting recognition! | gohilster
10/10/2014 15:01 | tanelorn I agree with that, a good buying opportunity coming when the general market bottoms. | chector177
10/10/2014 12:31 | Lots of companies down unfairly Catlin PE = 7 divi = 6% Still falling. | tanelorn
09/10/2014 17:48 | Current market cap = £120m Exp net cash 12/14 =£10m Enterprice value £110m Exp Earnings =£13m PE =8.5x ! Both analysts think its worth 235-250 a 50%+ upside . | buffetteer
09/10/2014 17:10 | these guys have grown sales & market share THROUGH the recession where spending fell considerably .i donut think this will affect them . | buffetteer
09/10/2014 16:58 | Perhaps this is being affected by slowing activity in the housing market, especially in the SE? If so then momentum may be against it for a while if softness continues in housing. London demand is down for the 5th month in a row. The metrics (CF, PE and dividend) here look good but market may be anticipating weakening demand going forward which will of course affect these nice looking metrics. | hydrus
09/10/2014 15:54 | Not sure if this has been posted, but the NT gives another mention in this months (Oct) spread betting mag. His review is on p24ish.. give a take a few pages | jakedog2
09/10/2014 15:54 | Reassuring Robbie Burns (aka Naked Trader) has NOT sold out and is still very bullish on the company. In fact, he lists it as one of his long term 'boring' plays in this months Spread Betting Magazine and go's on to say that he believes will pay off big time in the next 6 months or so. Reassuring indeed: Page 31 | gohilster
09/10/2014 12:04 | We don't need to understand the irrational nature of markets - just take advantage when opportunity comes along -just as we can here. Small aim companies can swing 30%+ easily . There at least that much here. | buffetteer
09/10/2014 11:04 | They fitted some new windows down the road from me on Monday, 4 men to get the job done quickly minimum inconvenience to householder, towards end of job 2 of the men went house to house politely canvassing and leaving brochures, not at all brash like the tv ad, just sensible sales tactic. Wife spoke with the householder yesterday said they were great very pleased. Don't understand the share price at all, I would have thought with the bearish market we appear to be in and global concerns and currency affecting foreign earners adversely, home grown divis with low risk would be in demand. | paleje
08/10/2014 22:26 | Loll the adverts are quality | lozler
08/10/2014 19:03 | fyi - advfn have told me that you cannot take 'buy' or 'sell' as gospel. The system assumes what the bargain is from its proximity to the spread prices. | peter27
08/10/2014 16:09 | ST gave a commentary on the fragile market today and his stock picks in particular, many of which are under water. His take on SFE is still Buy and his fair value target 230p. "I have also tried to play the economic recovery by focusing on niche consumer plays, including double glazing firm Safestyle (SFE: 172.25p) and clothing retailer Moss Bros (MOSB: 98.5p). I maintain my very positive stance on both ('Exploit an open buying opportunity', 22 September and 'Dressed for retail success', 23 September 2014)" | paleje
08/10/2014 14:35 | Imranawan> That was a sale!, Cannot rely on advfn as the price was delayed, lets hope it doesn't happen tomorrow as well! | tanelorn
08/10/2014 14:27 | far too cheap -topped up myself -30k shares though ! | buffetteer
08/10/2014 14:09 | Three chunky buys totalling 500k shares just gone through @ 150p. Any idea about who's building a large position in the stock? | imranawan
08/10/2014 13:16 | Tree shake imo. MM's dropping price on no news suddenly a penny or two at a time to scare holders into selling. Holders panic and sell, dropping the price further. When the MM's work is done, they gradually raise the price again and PI's buy back in increasing the share price from its low. MM's made their money on the volatility of the spread and extra volume the panic casued. We've just witnessed the classic textbook example today in this stock. | gohilster
08/10/2014 13:12 | Added Offers great value IMHO at the prices. Fwd PEx9 with 6% divi. From 6 month results four weeks ago.... ''Safestyle UK plc has enjoyed a successful first half of 2014 during which market share, turnover and profitability all increased. We continue to pursue our strategies of expansion in the South and South East and increasing market share. We started the second half of 2014 with a strong order book and order intake to date has been as expected, and we remain on course to meet full year expectations." | jakedog2
08/10/2014 12:35 | Wtf is going on here?....tree shake or what?.DD | discodave4 |
