Just went through my figures again and have a fair value target of 2.80. I have in the past missed out on selling bang on my targets so may wait. End of the day, strongly growing company will always deliver. Would hate to sell and have a exceeds expectations trading update. Breakout points to that direction.

I had a target of 285p which I'm hopeful it can achieve. I'll await the trading update to see how they've performed. Based on the divi yield it still looks reasonable value. I did top up my holding at 217p, which looks like a good decision in hindsight.

Yep, so long as it keeps going in the right direction not too fussed about volumes.Well done too with EPWN.My original sell target from buying in Sept 2014 was 270, decisions, decisions!.GLDD

Cheers DiscoDave. I might use the charting facility on IG as they seem to have pretty robust data. Regardless of volume, its great to see the share price in an upwards trajectory. I also hold a few EPWN and its nice to see the price of both being strong even when the FTSE has found it tough.

Don't know if where I'm getting the average from is right either!. I'm using barchart.com which has average volume of 36k-37k.Notice that stocko has 301k.Don't know then but Morningstar has avg of 282k, so guess barchart may be wrong.The ADVFN app shows above average volume for today at 103k so I'm even more uncertain as to what the average is lol.DD

DiscoDave where are you getting the average daily volume from? I tend to use Stockopedia but clearly this isn't right then.

Volume is low today, but as SFE is my largest holding I'm very happy with the recent price increase, and I hope the TU is also positive.

What a superb start to the New Year, very encouraging on the run up to the trading statement.

Excellent day overall although missed the boat on Home Retail. I was extremely close over the festive season to buy as the balance sheet looked ridiculously strong. Ohh well, next time.

imranawan,Just read EPWN's half year results from 16th Sept and they stated then that year end profits would be in-line with market expectations despite challenging market conditions - so not new news!. As you say, trading update 25th Jan could be interesting (in a positive way) and let's see what the share price does leading up to it!.DD

Agree with your comments Disco Dave. Interesting that EPWN said they expect to meet market expectations despite challenging market conditions in H2. Will be interesting to see what SFE say in their trading update and compare to EPWN.

No TA, does look like it's broken through resistance of about 255 but the volume today doesn't support a breakout, it was slightly less than average of 36k. Nice to see a 52 week high though on the first day of trading for 2016 - long may it continue!.Perhaps a read over from EPWN who issued a positive trading update (31st Dec year end profits in-line), acquired Stormking for £27m and was also mentioned in today's IC stock market overview (Buy).DD
