Here's hoping eem get a new higher bid on Monday what price would spread betters get if takeover goes through the cash offer or the share plus cash offer??? any one know I guess sit would be the lessor offer as I am sure the spread bet companies will not want to pay out the higher offer!!!!

We just need one piece of news that the columbians are interested in the deal and this will be £40 plus in seconds some series potential money to be made or deal off and we are back at £30 high stakes indeed hence why must be lot of very nervous traders and holders of this? But that's why I favour a promoting outcome as surely holders will put pressure on the BOD to talk and find an agreement dangerous to put head in sand and walk away shareholders would not forgive the lost chance IMHO

This will go into Freefall now...the more educated people drink less alcohol IMO the deal is bad for the shareholders.it only good for the deal maker and the money lender......

Don't think it's happening, even with an improved bid.

warwick - you may be right, the key probably now is the second largest shareholder at 14%, if AB can get them on board they have a chance but the SAB board seem pretty determined to fend this off. At the moment the market is clearly giving the deal no better than a 50/50 i'd say.

They don't care about the little guy...
3 times offers were made to buy Sab Miller and each time the chairman rejected the offer on the same day.
The board did not even say they will consider the offer....
So Sab Miller should go to under 29 pounds to punish the stock...

That's why they are so keen to do it now with next weeks deLine they will offer a little more to get board approval they really only need the other big share holder to publicly agree and then it's on and you will see share price jump to 3800 level don't forget it's £42.15 cash for most just the two big holders will want the stock and cash I bet all small shareholders will be calling for company to talk and agree a deal

Everyone dying to get out now...IMO..
Interest rate rises will make the deal undo able...

Well I think it's well worth a gamble that the shareholders might force board to talk and agree a deal

Going into to freefall soon..imo
Should go to 29 ukpounds...
There is nothing tangible to keep the share price at this level when no takeover is seen...
It would not surprise me if these companies go long and short on their stock and make more money without doing the deal.......
There are no synergies in the company doing a deal...
