Expect the price to continue to fall for a couple of days - I bought 2,500 yesterday.

I agree.
A non-exec spends £ 1.2m on shares at 2210p, only 5% below their highest ever.

The shares a fortnight later stand at 2102p.

Is on my radar now, with a probable target of £25.

I havent had time to do any research yet so not prepared to dip my toe in unless this price falls further in next few days, but gut feeling says that the mid-term prospects for this company in a growing global segment of consumer market are pretty spectacular.

Judging by the share price it seems what I said in my previous post was wrong Oh well.

It's noticeable that the recent positive broker comment has done nothing to encourage the share price.

PThat may be because SAB has dropped out of a small H&S top which looks likely to be the head of a larger H&S top which started to form last October. If that breaks, the initial price target from the larger H&S would be around 1440p.

Accordingly, I've sold my lomg term holding with a nice mark-up.

Given the price change in the last year, I'm surprised not to see any comment on SAB. There's also positive broker comment. Personally, I'm ignoring that and selling.

dead cross = more downside to come? last time there was one with this stock - march 06 it signalled a bottom and long run up. They were a bit pricey but not anymore.Quality stock. Will see institutional buying around this level. I think the downside is over.

Closed short at £13.10 this morning. Not really on fundamentals, just banking profits. Now ... up, up and away?

Hi beercapafn, I'm new to this stock but actually picked it up as a strong short candidate. I don't believe the price has yet reflected the coming squeeze on margins between high input costs and depressed consumer spending in major markets.

Of course, there will be synergies from acquisitions but its much harder to achieve those and the costs are higher in a market downturn.

So personally, I'm not surprised ... went short at £14.30 and again at £14.10 and am not closing yet.

Hi fellow sab followers.

Any idea why the big fall over 2 days. I can only think it is to do with the Scottish Newcasle bid, and the big guys are scared that SAB will get expensivily involved. Any thoughts.

charts look like the stock will test 1250p and is a good level to buy in on the cheap with a tight stop loss.
