Using 'pleased' in this situation is imo, taking the p*ss out of shareholders

It should read-

''We are 'pleased' to have raised a paltry amount to keep the lights on, at enormous dilution to our existing supportive shareholders. Your BoD is very pleased to be able to continue for another year.

Meanwhile, we continue to hide behind our key KPI order book which has never correlated with Sales achieved before.

Once again expected orders will be H2 weighted, or later the following year so shareholders can relax knowing full well that we do not have any resistance to change.

We look forward to updating shareholders after the hopeful next placing''

Good points made gents, Hindsight maybe, but I guess I didn't look deep enough when oil was $100 barrel sales were still slow LCC as an example, free trials was last throw of the dice !Logically it's looks an inferior/ useless product as marketing & advertising can't surely be to blame imo Another one my portfolio likely bites the dust

imo the business model was dead in the water ages ago, because the level of sales simply is not enough, compared to the cost of getting the sales.

Considering the number of hurdles to be jumped to get industrial sales of new products, the sales that do materialise have to be nice big contracts.

Any company that has to do trials for customers, needs to have existing cash-generating products to keep it going while the trials drag on and on and the negotiations between various parties take place.

I think they haven't really owned up to themselves that the final project size is simply not enough.

If they were selling a new-fangled industrial widget through distributors it might be different.

Sadly yes. If there are performance issues with the product and technology after all these years then it's worthless, and explains why no other Company has come in for it.

I gathered that!

But that's the thing. No cash. No orders. No pipeline. Rumours of something bad with the product. What does that leave you with?

Liquidation?

Apols Geoff, it was tongue in cheek. If those delayed contracts have not materialised then the chances are SNT is toast........

Who with? I know the industry they work in, and I know one company that has a far better product which has been certified by a recognised test facility and they have just landed a deal to roll out their boiler optimisation units with Marriott in the UK and potentially in Europe.

The same company works with Hilton and Accor hotels. Basically the three biggest hotel chains in the world.

They also work with the NHS and the MoD.

Sounds like the opposition is doing far better.

Who will bail out a company that is continuously losing money?

I've heard rumours of far worse things than just losing money though.

The other thing to consider, there are numerous other systems on the market which reduce dry cycling. None of which are listed on AIM.
And most of which work the same. Or don't as the case may be.

The company has no USP.

Energy efficiency is a growing market place, but as a product M2G looks to be going no-where, possibly why the LCC contract isn't going anywhere.

As for Endotherm. Jeeezzzz. Another tin of snake oil?
Next they will be selling the secret of Alchemy!

Interesting Geoff. You seem to know your stuff so I will not argue, and there lies the problem with the LCC contract. Schools will be closed for 3 weeks out of the maximum 12.

I know a bit about this sector, and have done some research into the M2G unit.
To me it has a several fundamental flaws.

1. It cannot monitor it's own savings.
2. Dry Cycling only occurs in shoulder seasons (between Autumn & winter and winter and spring), so effectively the unit only makes savings for 8-12 weeks a year.
3. It won't work on boilers which heat swimming pools (as they don't dry cycle).
4. Boilers need to dry cycle. Eliminating dry cycling leads to a build up of moisture in the boiler. Iron and water don't mix very well and the boiler will rust away.
5. It has no independent testing accreditation, such as the BRE.

In summary, they have a product which can only work 8-12 weeks a year, on certain boilers, which will eventually make them rot, and they have no way of knowing what savings they make. If any.

As a business plan it's rubbish!

It can still fall 100% !

With the benefit of hindsight it seems incredible they never built on the MoD and LCC contracts. The MoD used to be one of the hardest sectors to get into with quality standards second to none (I assume its still the same).

However, as far as I am aware the LCC contract was never completed in full, which probably should have been RNS'd?

The whole 'Boiler' sector seems out of favour, maybe that's the main issue.

The £240K cash position was at the end of June. Since then they raised £750K via a placing in September.

Thanks Mas I'd missed that.

So after posting a £1.6m loss last year they had cash of £240k. Not going to last long is it? Unsure of their Banking facilities.
forward p/e/ for 2018 is x3, Market clearly not expecting them to perform.

The Co is under immense pressure

AGM statement

At the Annual General Meeting to be held at 11am today, the Company will provide the following update in respect of the period since 1 July 2016

Pilot programme

P35 (2015/16 heating season) - The Company received initial orders from two P35 clients, 24 clients have received an M2G business case proposal with a further 2 still pending. 6 clients for site-specific reasons are still in measurement. In addition to the above, there are a further 2 US pilot clients which are in discussion with the Company's US distributor regarding an M2G roll out. Moreover, the Company has received initial orders of cGBP100k from its US distributor in respect of one of the pilots carried out in the USA in the past heating season. P40 (2016/17 heating season) - The Company has commenced its P40 M2G Pilot programme and currently has signed up 17 pilots in total, 15 in the UK and 2 in the USA and Europe. The company also has signed up 10 EndoTherm pilots in the UK and intends on running at least 15 EndoTherm pilots in the UK during this heating season.

Trading update

At the placing in September 2016, the Company announced that orders of GBP500k, expected to be received in June or July, were now expected to be received in the 2(nd) quarter of the current financial year. Although these orders have not been received yet, discussions with the clients involved indicate they are still current and are expected in the 2(nd) or 3(rd) quarters of the financial year to June 2017. Trading in the first months of the current financial year is a reflection of ongoing discussions with the P35 clients mentioned above. This will mean that the results for the half year to 31 December 2016 will show a loss.

A further update will be provided at the time of the announcement of half year results in February 2017.

It's the AGM next week (Tuesday 29th), I would like to attend but it clashes with the AGM for Surface Transforms where I have a lot more chips on the table, so alas I don't think I will make it to the SNT AGM.

Anyone else planning to go along?

People always like to comment on what a share price is telling us. In this case it appears to be 'whatever'...
