06/3/2012 14:58 | Noted Mas, I missed it on their web site. Thanks | pj 1
06/3/2012 14:52 | A little profit taking today as one might expect after such a strong rise yesterday. The thread hit yesterday was also 10 x higher than the daily average and was also the highest daily level recorded since I installed the thread counter a year ago. Just goes to show the tremendous power of national media coverage ! PJ 1 - 5 Mar'12 - 140: gossip from an accountant from a share dealing meeting that Envido are interested in the M2G themselves As I mentioned in #139 yesterday, Envida are just one of Sabiens smaller existing distributors & installers. They also feature the M2G on their website. | masurenguy
06/3/2012 09:40 | Gol- accepted, im still learning!!Selftrade, Buy max quantity size 10,500, sell max quantity 25,000. MM's still looking to buy stock so maybe some price manipulation | pj 1
06/3/2012 09:34 | PJ1, it is more likely that poor liquidity helped yesterday's rise because of a scramble for stock. Either way, let's hope there is more to come. | goliard
06/3/2012 09:13 | 40% in a day!!! ???? I'll take that. Hopefully many serious investors who now have it on their radar will be doing their homework on it now and come to the same conclusion as us! A little above my Brain power but I'm assuming the low liquidity of the shares could be holding the price back a little? Whatever, i'm still holding even if we have a short term reverse.... | pj 1
06/3/2012 08:46 | Strange. I would have thought that thhis sort of good news might merit an RNS for a small cap like Sabien. | goliard
06/3/2012 08:27 | More grist to the mill ! Sabien Technology chosen as Carbon Reduction Partner to Carbon Disclosure Project 29/02/12 Sabien today announced its selection as a Carbon Reduction Partner to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). CDP is an independent not-for-profit organisation providing a transformative global system for companies and cities to measure, disclose, manage and share climate change and water information. Some 3,700 organisations across the world's largest economies now measure and disclose their greenhouse gas emissions and carbon abatement strategies through CDP in order that they can set reduction targets and make performance improvements. 655 institutional investors, with US$78 trillion in assets, own a large share of the world's largest publicly listed companies and act as the authority behind CDP. "CDP is inviting applications for a limited number of companies to become carbon reduction partners, offering technology and services that help reduce carbon emissions across sectors. We are delighted to add Sabien as our first silver carbon reduction partner in the UK," said Paul Robins, Head of Corporate Partnerships at the Carbon Disclosure Project. "Sabien has demonstrated strong credentials and has an impressive track record of helping organisations reduce carbon emissions through their technology." Sabien fully supports the purpose of CDP's carbon reduction program and is honoured to have been selected as CDP's first silver carbon reduction partner in 2012. Accredited carbon reduction partners offer technology and services that help reduce carbon emissions. This partnership program complements CDP's Carbon Action initiative an investor led initiative to accelerate company action on carbon reduction activities which deliver a satisfactory return on investment. The partnership also highlights the growing market penetration of Sabien's patented M2G boiler optimisation technology. Over 30% of the United Kingdom's CDP 2011 Leadership Index members have begun or completed installation programmes utilising Sabien's proven M2G energy reduction technology. "We're proud to be named one of a select few Carbon Reduction Partners to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) which is one the most highly revered NGO's in the world and unparalleled in the field of commercial carbon data aggregation and reporting. The partnership recognises and reinforces Sabien's reputation as a trusted and proven provider of energy efficiency technology" said Alan O'Brien, Sabien's CEO and founder. Founded in March 2004 by Sabien's CEO Alan O'Brien, UK-based Sabien Technology specialises in providing proven and commercially viable technology to reduce carbon emissions and energy usage for private and public organisations. Sabien Technology Group Plc floated on AIM in 2006.The M2G is a patented energy efficient technology designed to reduce fuel consumption in commercial boilers. M2G has achieved Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certification which enables the technology to be sold in the USA. Sabien's client's includes among others, Lloyds Banking, MOD, Royal Mail, British Telecom, Royal Bank of Scotland Group, Aviva, Standard Life, Hampshire Council, Greenwich Council, DEFRA, DECC, Marriott Hotels. | masurenguy
05/3/2012 14:14 | Mas- Total gossip from an accountant from a share dealing meeting that Envido are interested in the M2G themselves as they have a much larger customer base to market to, where Sabien are trusting to recommendation and referral. No one seemed to know what Envido are currently selling as they appear to me to be competitors in the same market. Sabien are relucatant I feel to increase their overheads (labour/ staff) and trusting to sub contractors. Prob adding 2 and 2 and getting 23,789!!!-Again, total rumour no facts!! | pj 1
05/3/2012 13:59 | PJ 1 - 5 Mar'12 - 137: Does anyone know anything about Envido? I believe that they are a company to whom Sabien outsources some of the M2G installation work. What prompted your question ? | masurenguy
05/3/2012 13:31 | I would prefer not to have a bid for a couple of years to be honest. | goliard
05/3/2012 13:25 | I would have thought a Bid more likely than that. Does anyone know anything about Envido? | pj 1
05/3/2012 13:18 | About time people started to take notice of this. I had thought I was mad investing here as the shre price dropped, but the article really shows the potential. Also, I wonder if they can do some sort of licensing deal with a supplier of home boilers so they can tap that market too without having to worry about servicing? | goliard
05/3/2012 09:55 | This is a very illiquid share. You may have to wait for todays rise to prompt an existing shareholder to decide to take some profits before there are many shares available to buy. | masurenguy
05/3/2012 09:51 | Right now, I cant even buy 500 online | joesoap3
05/3/2012 08:53 | Learning curve this one for me----i tried to buy £5k last week. Over Wed, Thu and Fri I managed to get hold of £3.6k. I guess MM were holding stock, wondering how easy they are to actually buy this morning if anyone has? | pj 1
05/3/2012 08:47 | Great coverage and shows the potential for this company. Back in profit since the recent rises and added more. | goliard
05/3/2012 08:13 | Predictably the MMs quickly increase the spread to 12.5% when some media coverage prompts a few buys ! Edit - 8.40: Now in the top 10 Small Cap Gainers this morning on a volume of less than 30,000 shares ! | masurenguy
04/3/2012 17:23 | Article in Times today | joker100
04/3/2012 12:41 | It might prompt some interest in the shares next week ! | masurenguy
04/3/2012 11:49 | AIMzine are carrying a feature on Sabien in their March edition this weekend, mostly positive, free to subscribe:- | paleje
02/3/2012 13:55 | Good lunch time, have we missed any News?? | pj 1
01/3/2012 21:02 | Now it seems to make sense. The 59,999 trade which is shown today at 10.55 as a late trade probably took place yesterday (29/2/12) and was a buy which is why the spread showed 38/41 today. Late today it was still showing 39 to sell 40.85 to buy. MM's probably now looking for stock as MAS said above hence the increased prices | joesoap3
01/3/2012 10:47 | Thanks very much for that. I had also noted the above deals and couldnt make sense of it other than as you say, there may be someone who is wanting to buy. I am sure that this will be re-rated at some point (fingers crossed). Having said that, I am hoping to remain a longer term holder and see my investment rise as the Company grows | joesoap3 |
