07/2/2011 07:10 | Fantastic H1 update with an incredible incease in sales, bottom line profitability and an even stronger pipeline. At some point when people catch on to this company it will be significantly re-rated higher. | goliard

07/1/2011 13:30 | I may be able to shed a bit of light on the rns statement regarding being back in profit at post tax level. I sent an e-mail to the Company asking about whether the company would show a profit or loss at pre tax level. I added that if they were unable to answer that question could they answer the question could a company report a pre tax loss but a post tax profit. I got the following reply from FD Gus Orchard:- Thank you for your enquiry. Just to set your mind at rest, pre- and post- tax profits (or losses) for the company will be the same until such time as all tax losses (£2,273k as at 30 June 2010) are used up. Regarding your query about whether a company could disclose a pre-tax loss and a post-tax profit I suppose it could be possible if a company that had been making regular losses then became extremely confident that it would use these losses up in a subsequent year and thus create a deferred tax asset which was big enough to change a pre-tax loss to a post-tax profit. Let me know if you find one! | joesoap3
06/1/2011 12:10 | As a long term holder I am extremely happy with the update but I agree, I would have expected a stronger reaction. I agree with the point on the profit comment, it seems very much like an accounting trick to suggest profit otherwise they would have simply said they were in profit. I don't mind anyway as they're sales are looking strong and the outlook was more than positive. Bring on Feb | g2am
05/1/2011 16:41 | Overall a reasonable reaction to very good news. Hopefully we can move up again tomorrow and cement the trend upwards for this year! | goliard
05/1/2011 11:40 | I am a fan of this company and been a shareholder since very early last year ( oh if only I'd sold in April). I believe it will do well and the share price go higher. When I read the rns this morning, I was very pleased esp as I thought it was not forecast to make a profit this year. However it does seem strange to forecast a post tax profit forecast rather than pre tax. It does seem to leave questions unanswered. The other strange factor is the huge amount of buying this morning has had no effect on the share price, in fact it is actually lower now than it was at just after 8am with over 1million share apparently bought. Anyone got any views EDIT 11.42 - typical, its gone up now as I wrote that, but still would have expected higher with all the buying and no selling | joesoap3
05/1/2011 09:28 | I dont know why there is suspicion. Trying to read too much into things. | amt
05/1/2011 09:16 | rivaldao, I am not sure I agree with that analysis. Which tax credits are you referring to? I don't know of any that work the way you describe, ie turn a loss at pre-tax to a profit after tax. They have some fairly small tax losses to carry forward, but haven't recognised any asset value in these in the rpevious accounts, so again, I don't see how this could be the case. I think today's update is really encouraging. I can't be anything other than very positive on a company that confirms; - record sales - record orders - real progress in converting enquiries to concrete orders Not sure what else you would want to see before buying in to this, but I think we have tested the lows and will now see progress back to the 60-70p level. | goliard
05/1/2011 09:15 | Agree your points, rivaldo, however, if SNT can demonstrate a growing order book next month, and maybe more contract wins, the question of profitability will take care of itself in due course. 31.5m shares in issue, by the way, giving a m/cap of £10.5m (advfn financials still not updated for the placing). | exmooroil
05/1/2011 08:33 | I'm suspicious of today's RNS. Why say profitable at a "post-tax" level? I suspect that SNT are still loss-making at a pre-tax level and are benefiting from tax credits/rebates. The order book is only just over £1m for a £9m m/cap company, which doesn't strike me as particularly exciting. I'm not a holder - but I do like the product. I just believe it's too early to buy in here. Happy to acknowledge though that others will be more ready to buy in early for potential gains than me. If I miss the boat so be it, but imo there's still a risk the results will disappoint based on the above. | rivaldo
05/1/2011 08:26 | these look way unervalued imo based on the anticipated results.....staggeri | pre
05/1/2011 08:22 | Trading Update today: Interim results to 31.12.10 will be released week commencing 7.2.11 | exmooroil
06/12/2010 11:53 | originally flagged this for next year. But I see they already have £1.3 t/o confirmed during first 5 months against total sales last year of £973th. And pipeline over £3m. So bought in today for l/t. Local authorities are major sector. They have obtained orders averaging £250th per borough and think how many boroughs are out there needing to make savings. I work at a school and can see the potential. If you like these kind of shares take a look at SDI - perhaps another Judges in the making. | puku
06/11/2010 15:47 | The results looked ok to me but no positive market reaction, only sporadic selling. I did add a few after the results so disappointed to see it drift down on relatively small selling- but that is what happens with a small company like this. I think if it drops below 30p again, I will buy more, all it needs is some interest reigniting in this company and we will see another rise similar to that after the Mail on Sunday article but maybe not quite as high. So lets hope for more orders and a bit of press interest | joesoap3
29/10/2010 11:06 | Very good results and I'm impressed with not only the outlook for the future but the order book at present. I've followed this company for a while and had my shares for well over a year and a half now. I've spoken to the CEO on a few occasions and I'm more than confident in this business. I'm not worried about Patents and others stealing the technology, as some suggest. Woodcutter - It might be built into future technology but changing heating systems is something companies do very infrequently as it's so expensive. Just think of all the Medium to large enterprises in this country that use boilers to control their heating - thousands. And that's just the uk. Not only that they are already looking at other technologies to diversify. I think this is only the beginning and with the CRC in force companies will have no option but to do something about reducing their CO2 and Sabien is well placed to take advantage of that. But as usual dyor | g2am
29/10/2010 08:01 | Yes, one to watch for the future I reckon. If they can break even in the next 6 months then this could fly. DYOR NO ADVICE | amt
29/10/2010 07:42 | Good results today. 84% of last years turnover already booked, strong order pipeline for this year and next, reducing debt and the governments new carbon reduction scheme providing a solid base for public and private sector orders. Seems like a promising future and I am happy to hold these. | goliard |
