Ryanair Holdings PLC said Friday that it is delisting from the London Stock Exchange, which is expected to become effective on Dec. 20.
The low-cost carrier said it has given notice of its intention to request to delist from the index to the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority. Its last day of trading on the LSE will be Dec. 17.
The company will continue to have its primary listing on Euronext Dublin, it said.
Ryanair said it was considering a delisting from the index as a result of Brexit on Nov. 1, when it reported its results for the first half of fiscal 2022.
"The migration away from the LSE is consistent with a general trend for trading in shares of EU corporates post Brexit and is, potentially, more acute for Ryanair as a result of the long-standing prohibition on non-EU citizens purchasing Ryanair's ordinary shares being extended to U.K. nationals following Brexit," the company said in early November.
