09/12/2017 11:38 | The recent acquisition was funded by a combination of debt plus placing It will be " highly and immediately"earnings enhancing in first year No dilution! | phillis
08/12/2017 17:18 | IMHO it's a bit daft talking about the current reported multiple when it ignores the eps growth for next year in part from the acquisition but includes what looks like a dilution to fund buying it! | alphabeta4
08/12/2017 14:14 | I believe Numis have a target share price of 490p and a Hold rec dated 6 Dec unchanged from last month. Shore Capital also in Dec say hold but don't give a target. Berenberg initiated coverage at the end of Nov with a buy and TP of 530p. | alter ego
08/12/2017 12:11 | 3rd Eye no worse for the repetition :-) | phillis
08/12/2017 09:48 | thanks for that Phillis. Got to agree RWS isn't cheap, fun fact it's quite expensive but you cannot argue with the track record. Having topped up recently at 424, I'm happy to let AB and his team do what they do well. | alter ego
06/12/2017 09:41 | According to Morningstar looks about a 1% beat. On a different note they make a number of hints as to how much of their profits will be US going forward. Both Luz & Moravia are heavily US based - I've worked out if they were purely US for 2018 just under half of profits are US based, so on a corp tax reduction to 20% that's up to 7.5% of extra profit which hasn't been factored into analyst forecasts from what I can see. | alphabeta4
06/12/2017 07:48 | Difficult to assess short term impact on share price how much was priced in? | r ball
06/12/2017 07:30 | Got to be happy with these results. "RWS has delivered outstanding results, establishing new records for revenues, profits and the proposed dividend. "We are particularly encouraged by the performance of LUZ post acquisition and its successful integration with CTi to form RWS Life Sciences, our market leading life science translations and linguistic validation division. "The post year-end acquisition of Moravia is transformational for RWS, significantly strengthening the Group's global presence and firmly establishing the Group as one of the world's leading language services providers. We look forward to working with the Moravia team as it builds upon its strong industry reputation and growth track record. We are confident that we can build on our considerably broader global platform by developing the opportunities afforded by our extended geographical reach and expanded range of language services and technology offerings." | broadwood
01/12/2017 13:56 | The most recent company announcement reveals all: | orange1
01/12/2017 13:28 | The IC say RWS finals will be on 6 Dec. Can't find a date on company web site but the date is the same as last year. | alter ego
22/11/2017 22:13 | can't see any progress til the size of the welfare state is tackled, housing benefit, much of it fraudulently claimed, is cut back and fraud and overmanning in the nhs is dealt with and the left wing teachers are faced up. suspect it was the Liberals in the coalition who insisted on the initial pension Lta changes. | mw8156
22/11/2017 17:54 | Well it's not a very 'Tory' regime! You wouldn't have thought cuts in pension relief, 'stealth' taxes on dividends dressed up as 'cuts' or attacks on B-2-L landlords were very 'Tory' either, but Boy George brought them all in. I fear it's only a matter of time before they see how much is piled up in ISA's and 'review' the rules there too! | jeffian
22/11/2017 17:11 | re IHT it wouldn't be a very 'Tory' thing to change the rules and would cause all sorts of distress in the many family controlled firms on AIM and Nex exchanges. | mw8156
22/11/2017 16:51 | He announced a lower VAT rate for translations carried out for the under 30s. | orange1
22/11/2017 15:00 | presumably | phillis
22/11/2017 14:53 | Interesting to see RWS share price climb once the Chancellor sat down. Was it the relief he didn't alter the IHT exemption rules? | alter ego
03/11/2017 11:21 | Acq completed | steptoes yard
31/10/2017 08:52 | Thank you for that Robin. I found his comments very instructive. He clearly has some cash generative "business perspective" investments in that fund. | steptoes yard |
