04/2/2010 04:45 | A reply on the ISA issue: --------- Dear x, We are looking at this for you and will be addressing this issue in the Scheme Booklet. Many thanks, Mark Hanlon CFO & Company Secretary Rusina Mining NL -------- I'm not sure what they can do, though, unless they change the ENK listing plans. | zangdook
03/2/2010 22:47 | So whats the cut off date ?, if buy shares tomorrow do I qualify if the deal goes through ? | gnawe
03/2/2010 21:55 | m & g no doubt a certain yes... but as ever back to the jxtc issue again | dickturnip
03/2/2010 21:44 | Given the history here, one can only assume that the share register has been analysed for possible voting outcomes. | mattybuoy
03/2/2010 21:42 | as ever invest99 on fire.... | dickturnip
03/2/2010 21:34 | Ructions on Hot Copper ... Choice quote: It seems that we have grossly under estimated the true value of Rusina-with it,s Chrome Copper & platinum possible reserves & given it all away for peanuts to the bloody Poms! | mattybuoy
03/2/2010 09:42 | I like the 15% discount bit | dickturnip
03/2/2010 09:24 | The Value Cap is presubably a mechanism to protect ENK shareholder as they are expecting the value of company could increase significantly above the 11p per share once the China funding gets confirmed. ENK shareholders (PI's) anyway seem to guesstimate a re-rating to 20p. So all in all it looks very positive for RMLA holders if it goes through. dyor etc.. | energiser01
02/2/2010 23:28 | Absolutely no volume at open ... LOL | mattybuoy
02/2/2010 22:24 | Merger duly announced to the ASX. | mattybuoy
02/2/2010 19:58 | I wonder if the PGMs will ever get drilled. LOL | mattybuoy
02/2/2010 19:55 | Mattybuoy, Yes, still here, just shut off active interest in it looking for stocks in perhaps a similar way to you. Thanks for the pointer to your article! | goatherd
02/2/2010 19:52 | Try here: It's by some bloke called Mattybuoy ... The short answer to "does UCG solve the dirty problem" is yes (ignoring CO2). | mattybuoy
02/2/2010 19:36 | I have always steered rather clear of coal due to the "dirty" image - but have they managed to cure that in the underground gasification process? Obviously there will be carbon in the gas, but if that is all then it is about as clean aqs one can get for a few years. Sorry, I'm being idle, but I will start researching for myself! | goatherd
02/2/2010 19:27 | goatherd! I wondered if you were still with us ... :-) Yes I have been following the whole Falklands thing a bit. It doesn't float my boat though (sorry for the bad pun). 1) They're London listers, see GKP for reference. You need Can/Aus retail liquidity to do these things justice. 2) For energy I can see far greater optionality in the Aussie UCG players, and there is essentially no geological risk. Here you are talking trillions of barrels of oil equivalent, not must a mere 60 billion, and the extraction is easier and cheaper than ultra-deep sea oil. | mattybuoy
02/2/2010 19:20 | Mattybuoy, Despite all you say - and I agree with you - there is one discovery play which has hundred bagger + potential - and that is according to its latest AGM presentation, not me! Falklands Oil and Gas (FOGL) will start drilling in April, or perhaqps as late as June. | goatherd
02/2/2010 19:15 | The thing is, discovery plays are just too stressful. For every Ventana Gold there are a hundred stocks which go nowhere. You also have the problem that sometimes (e.g. GKP) the market doesn't reward you properly even if you do find something monster. | mattybuoy
02/2/2010 19:06 | A man after my own heart, Matty. I desperately try to stay away from technology in the minex space, but find myself irresistibly drawn to it... | wdurham
02/2/2010 18:58 | Wendy, A pragmatic deal given the never-ending uncertainty surrounding the two companies. It also finally lays to rest the ghost of Nikolaenko, which I always felt weighed Rusina down in Australia even to this day. As I said I am surprised that effectively the Rusina management will be running the combined show, but I am not dis-pleased. My only real question at this point is what will happen to Rusina's non-nickel laterite prospects. Will they be divested as being "non-core" for example? Whatever, I am certainly not going anywhere. My investment strategy is increasingly focusing on the use of technology to unlock known but "stranded" resources, of which this is a prime example. | mattybuoy
02/2/2010 18:32 | still digesting ...... | eelanguilla
02/2/2010 17:13 | LOL, drewz - ENK! But have been keeping a close eye on Rusina too... | wdurham
02/2/2010 17:09 | Wendy, are you invested here, or in ENK? If not, why not? | drewz
02/2/2010 17:05 | What's your take, Matty? | wdurham
02/2/2010 17:02 | not read it all yet, is it good for both parties, no parties? Thoughts appreciated, i'll have a butchers after gym this evening. | 2millionaire |
