Yep agree, they were selling 100k blocks at 0.45p a while back so they must be happy with 0.6p+

Wonder if they are done now, 0.615p bid so if they want to they can sell more but it's gone quiet

It's called profit taking mubz, you hike up a stale stock 36% and you are bound to get some in below 0.45p take a profit.

Golden P - many thanks for this info re Sterling - it seems something is quite imminent with Rurelec - anyone looking to acquire the underlying assets of R would of course do better bidding for the whole company at a steep discount to the asset value.

If 2.5p =£22 mil v current £4.5 mil market cap

1 mil buy order this morning in the auction but they have no chance at 0.4p, they tried for ages to get it done at 0.45p

Further to the announcement dated 9 September 2021, Rurelec PLC (AIM: RUR) announces today that its wholly owned Chilean subsidiary, Termoelectrica Del Norte SA ("TDN") has completed the sale of its Frame 6B gas turbine generating set and certain associated ancillary equipment (the "Turbine") to The Independent Power Corporation PLC. The outstanding balance of US $900,000 (GBP648,321) (the "Balance") has been received by Rurelec.

I wonder when the company is going to update share holders whether they actually received the money for their turbine in November or whether we have to wait till the results later in the year ?

Given the value of the turbine, nearly $1m,and taking into account the £2m MCAP, ideally we won't be kept in the dark for much longer, as it should be a 'market event', share price has been stuck at 0.40p for so long now.

Probably slowly filling the buy order that keeps appearing in each auction at 0.45p
