11/4/2021 22:05 | NT68. Judging by the latest news at eds there is a huge risk of closure. See article 2nd March 2021 See article 3rd March 2021 Market last update was November 2020. Update overdue especially given EdS issue. | ![]() golden prospect
29/3/2021 15:34 | Noticed that Echo Energy recently renegotiated a new gas contract in Argentina above market rates, so with some luck Rurelec/EdS fare similarly as it is almost equally remote and a source of important if not critical power supply. | ![]() novicetrade68
01/2/2021 07:23 | What will they be written down to this time around? The exchange rate movements will be negative. Besides, they aren't worth anything to shareholders in storage, they are just a cash drain. AIUI: Local spot price must lead to lower revenue, lower operating efficiency and higher costs. Fluctuation must mean revenue is unpredictable, so a need to hang on to cash to cover rainy days going forward. That is surely why the company warned. | ![]() glavey
29/1/2021 15:23 | Got this from LSE "value of the 701 Siemens turbines going into the project has been assessed at US $9.4 million (2018:US $12.0 million). The Directors also obtained an independent valuation produced by a competent .... after exchange rate movements these assets are duly recorded at a value of £7.7 million (2018: £10.0 million). | ![]() novicetrade68
29/1/2021 13:36 | I'm not sure, they are still getting spot prices for their electricity in lieu of a new agreement. These (local) spot prices can fluctuate quite a bit. MCAP still only 5m-6m or so, and only in the accounts from last year the turbines for sale have been assigned a value for the first time. Hopefully we'll get to hear something soon. | ![]() novicetrade68
29/1/2021 13:24 | I'd suggest plenty of downside as limited cash and it's quite likely no money forthcoming from Arg at this time and the company warned. | ![]() glavey
29/1/2021 13:14 | let's certainly hope so, the turbines have a value of $7.5m and there is $28m of monies due, both are not without risk but at least shouldn't be too much downside from 1p I would imagine, as their admin is pretty much covered by the retention of monies from Argentina - despite the fact there is a risk of currency exchange losses. | ![]() novicetrade68

28/1/2021 04:23 | If there's no news then it's not overdue, so more likely misguided speculation. | ![]() glavey
27/1/2021 15:19 | Perhaps an (overdue) update coming regarding Argentina, good to see some positive action today. | ![]() novicetrade68

03/11/2020 16:12 | Oh yes novice, that's what you do it you are a £7m market cap company, tell a nation to stuff themselves. Always works that one. | ![]() glavey
03/11/2020 09:52 | They claimed alot of things then ran away these pumpers no where to be seen today | ![]() justtrying1
03/11/2020 07:58 | 908k cash is around a fifth of their mcap and the highest it has been for a long time. Seems to me a little bit that EdS and Rurelecs advisers are telling the Argentineans to stuff themselves and get them to pay market rates given the state of available energy supply in the country...hopefully a new tariff in place soon. | ![]() novicetrade68
