13/5/2015 06:54 | BTW, I struggle to see how one group of workers being on strike could affect the basic pay of another group of contracted workers. | shanklin
13/5/2015 06:53 | Glenn, Yes, well done on PIP. | shanklin
12/5/2015 20:28 | There's the pip news Martin. Big contract for the tiddler | glennborthwick
12/5/2015 18:34 | Are Network Rail staff ever out of industrial action?! LOL :0) | cfro
12/5/2015 16:20 | Apparently, Network Rail Staff have today voted in favour of industrial action over pay. I would have thought this was a potential opportunity for RTC and others to provide additional temporary staff - but perhaps not if disruption causes delays to planned maintenance and upgrades in the short term? (But then presumably a greater workload to catch up) Just rambling random thoughts! - sorry! SJ | sailing john
12/5/2015 16:10 | D'you know what, this happens time and time again with RTC, Shanklin! Put simply it just presents good add points for those of us looking to buy more. | cfro
12/5/2015 15:35 | Very messy selling? | shanklin
01/5/2015 11:13 | If anybody followed me into pip pipe hawk flurry of trades this week. Something going on. | glennborthwick
27/4/2015 15:10 | Just to mention that RTC were highlighted in two of the Mello workshops at Peterborough including How to find a hidden gem | davidosh
22/4/2015 13:43 | Worth noting that the benefits will fall into the second half. Needs to be borne in mind come the interims in Sept. | cfro
22/4/2015 12:21 | Yes, worth remembering that the market forecasts assume business is not as good as management expects to be the case. | shanklin
22/4/2015 12:11 | The important part of the statement I have highlighted below, two divisions which are expected to be very strong in H2, and the reasons why are well known. I would expect confident in line updates up to the interims in July, followed by an increasingly bullish sentiment and an ahead of expectations before the next full year results. "Volumes are expected to increase significantly after 18 May 2015 (the end of the mobilisation period) and we therefore anticipate the positive impact of this contract will become apparent in our second half figures. All Ganymede businesses are performing to our expectations. The significant investment in headcount in ATA towards the end of 2014 is settling in well and we expect to see the positive impact of this in the second half of the year." | interceptor2
22/4/2015 10:54 | Yep, very strong statement. Looking good for next 24 months imo | glennborthwick
22/4/2015 08:02 | Reassuring statement. Quietly confident imo. | cfro
31/3/2015 07:42 | A shame to see Tim leave. :-( | cfro
30/3/2015 14:31 | AGM is in 3 weeks time, April 22nd. Should see market update, as per last year. | phar lap
30/3/2015 09:33 | Yes Battlebus, but most likely due to the fact it was in the wrong place and the wrong time. The recruitment sector cycle has now turned and things are very different for the industry. | cfro
30/3/2015 08:34 | Plus Andy has stated that he intends to maintain this holding for the long term and is committed to delivering the huge potential which the Board believes lies ahead for the Group and its shareholders. Also a positive that the shares have been bought for treasury, I like to seeing a company using options as an incentive for employees. | interceptor2
30/3/2015 08:32 | Morson Group was a disaster for shareholders and left the market on the cheap.. | battlebus2
30/3/2015 08:24 | Andy selling a few options but keeping hold of his near 10% stake for the long term...... ....he remains committed to delivering the huge potential which the board believes lies ahead for the group and its shareholders. Pretty impressive huh?! :-) | cfro
26/3/2015 16:34 | A £500,000 (at 66p a share) investmnent by Mr and Mrs McCarthy. Advised by the Morson Group boys that RTC was a stonking buy? ;-) | phar lap
26/3/2015 15:55 | So that rules out RTC taking over Morson then! As i say, i would hope that we will not see a hostile bid anytime soon. That would be a shame if we do. | cfro
26/3/2015 13:55 | Glenn - Morson are massive - turnover £650m in 2013 PBT £13m | sailing john
26/3/2015 13:34 | I would hope that we will not see a hostile bid. I suppose though, that it might be the other way round - RTC might takeover morson perhaps? | cfro
26/3/2015 13:34 | or they could build a stake to take it over down the line. Don't know how big Morson are in relationship to RTC | glennborthwick |
