21/7/2006 14:43 | I'm not sure many of the directors are talking to eachother, so I suspect that most will be still too nervous to commit themselves financially. Much of the strategic review was about cost cutting, some of which could be perceived to be counter growth. Many of the practices that were integrated in name were not integrated practically or culturally. I would hazard a guess that the coming year or so will see some of those firms pulling back out of Tenon and reestablishing themselves as independent partnerships. Good luck to holders and personally I will be very disappointed to see Tenon go by the wayside, but I don't hold out too much hope. | arfi
21/7/2006 10:06 | I agree 'deep' they have got to keep the momentum going through articles, press releases or trading updates otherwise boredom will set in and the new buyers that are not sitting down in the money will move on elsewhere and we will be back to where we started. | 23wizard
21/7/2006 09:15 | a week late but lets hope that happens this weekend.. | deep powder
13/7/2006 14:32 | I agree, I also think that some of the magazines will report on this weeks news and it is also time that the Directors started buying if they believe in themselves. If both happens then we should surely be moving back up to the mid 30's level | keybox
13/7/2006 10:50 | good old fashioned profit taking, next leg thru 30p? | deep powder
13/7/2006 09:44 | looks like the excitement is over for now. can anyone see level 2? should see revised numbers from kbc in the next week or so. maybe that will generate some institutional interest. | wonder boy
12/7/2006 09:11 | And yet yesterday, they did see the value. I wonder which vencap fund is backing them? | tkon
12/7/2006 08:05 | apologies accepted | thecleaner
12/7/2006 07:41 | TheCleaner my mistake, I'm the nonce!! apologies oc | olivercromwell
12/7/2006 07:06 | Who are you calling a nonce! 'A number of expressions of interest were received for the Group and several indicative offers were explored by the Board and independent directors. The Directors believe that, as the expected results of the year to 30 June 2006 demonstrate, there is considerable value in Tenon Group and that none of these expressions of interest reflected full value. The Board is therefore not pursuing any discussions in relation to the sale of the Group.' Are you saying that the Board are not the management? I do not see shareholders decisions being mentioned in this statement. | thecleaner
12/7/2006 06:35 | The company is owned by its shareholders not the management you nonce! What it does tell you is that the management and 'others' can see real value at TNO as confirmed by yesterdays trading update. Im sure that further trading updates will be forthcoming and with further bid interest and positive press coverage we should see TNO slowly progressing oc | olivercromwell
12/7/2006 05:31 | So the management team rejected an offer from themselves then? | thecleaner
11/7/2006 22:49 | Has anyone looked at the disclosure on www.thetakeoverpanel The takeover offer was from none other than the management team! | longshanks
11/7/2006 20:59 | I will mention 10p and 70p. This post is as pointless as the last one. | mustbefunny
11/7/2006 16:22 | 40p has been mentioned. dyor | demark
11/7/2006 15:26 | bid pushing up 26p now, another 10% rise tomorrow would be nice. | its the oxman
11/7/2006 11:05 | Just a seller to clear first, as per usual with these small caps. | sheik yerbouti
11/7/2006 10:47 | I don't think the full effect of this has been absorbed, this is a very strong statement, offers have been rejected (which no doubt would have been on a premium to yesterdays price, so this is set to rise further. Pretax of >10m also not reflected in mkt cap. | psheeran1
11/7/2006 08:16 | added 35K @ .265, not shown | olivercromwell
11/7/2006 08:00 | thinking of joining you guys but anyone shed any light on the 'exceptional items' against profits for this year? With a MCAP of 35M and PTP's of >10M for 2006!! single digit pe for 2007.. | olivercromwell
11/7/2006 07:47 | This is going to 100p within 24 months imho - but first there may be a pull back it looks a bit spikey! New thread would be nice....... | ydderf
11/7/2006 07:37 | That's £8m PBT in H2!!! Even without further gains from the strategic review that's going to be £16m in 2006/7. That's almost double last year's figure (and the shares were trading at 35p when THOSE numbers were released). Looking for 40-50p by Xmas. | wonder boy
11/7/2006 07:22 | yep back to 30p minimum by results I'd say, and if it wasn't for a patchy history could be a lot higher, either way looks promising now. | its the oxman
11/7/2006 07:16 | thanks sheik, must still look v cheap against vantis | deep powder
11/7/2006 07:14 | Target price 35p | thecleaner |
