The last RNS stated that 375870 shares would be issued today as an exercise of staff options. It may be that

Unusually large number of small trades for Tenon from the open. Was this tipped somewhere at the weekend?

Wow, I didn't expect this rise this morning, it's usually steady as she goes, even though I am expecting a bullish statement from the Chairman in March

Couldn't agree more, the Management seem to have got this right now, the March update could be really exciting

This share is getting really impressive and having reached my target, I've reset my chart. The target is now 75p.

Go on then.......were they buys or sells today?
My money would be on buys, and perhaps a buyer accruing in 100,000 blocks ?

Bought 40.000 a 13.36pm today, but showing as a sell, i think i moved the price. Heard some good things about TNO and was tipped to buy them at 39p but never did. Been told it still has a long way to go though yet. So glad to be onboard

Just come across this from 'This is Money' market report for Monday
ie BEFORE today's announcement:-

"Numis says professional services group Tenon is cheap at 51¼p, down ¼p. Fair value is 76p. Tenon is a cashflow positive business and it expects to see its underlying net debt decline dramatically.

It is the ninth largest accountancy firm and with the top six being heavily focused on large corporate clients, the market is highly fragmented and offers scope for organic and inorganic growth."

Given today's statement I reckon they'll be increasing their 76p fair value
figure.

Numis upgraded from Add to Buy according to Citywire:-

"Numis has upgraded Tenon from add to buy and sees the company as a business service entity rather than a conglomeration of accountancy practices."

I am not sure if they've changed their forecast, but as a 'business service
entity' I'd say that qualifies it for a mid teens P/E, say 15.

Using the existing Numis forecasts of (2007) 4.7p and (2008) 5.2p would equate to a share price of 70p and 78p ..... looking good.
