09/1/2007 19:34 | Just come across this from 'This is Money' market report for Monday ie BEFORE today's announcement:- "Numis says professional services group Tenon is cheap at 51¼p, down ¼p. Fair value is 76p. Tenon is a cashflow positive business and it expects to see its underlying net debt decline dramatically. It is the ninth largest accountancy firm and with the top six being heavily focused on large corporate clients, the market is highly fragmented and offers scope for organic and inorganic growth." Given today's statement I reckon they'll be increasing their 76p fair value figure. | jeff h | |
09/1/2007 19:10 | Numis upgraded from Add to Buy according to Citywire:- "Numis has upgraded Tenon from add to buy and sees the company as a business service entity rather than a conglomeration of accountancy practices." I am not sure if they've changed their forecast, but as a 'business service entity' I'd say that qualifies it for a mid teens P/E, say 15. Using the existing Numis forecasts of (2007) 4.7p and (2008) 5.2p would equate to a share price of 70p and 78p ..... looking good. | jeff h |
