Just reading on the profit warnings and divi cuts already arriving from the service hospitality sector. This will be a earthquake of warnings arriving over next weeks ..

I think there’s going to have to be a lot more pain with POO to have a significant affect on long term US shale production, it’ll either just be sold to a bigger company who could absorb the current pain and ramp up again later , or Trump will step in to save “ a great American industry” and save face . As Bruce Springsteen sang “We take care of our own ...”

Spud, I’m with you buying all they way down it can go. Wished I had more capital available but I do have monthly free cash so can do it all year if I’m lucky. unpresidented event which looks like it could knock off 10% GDP, so worse than 2008. My job fortunately is pretty secure so I can invest in and out of this crisis

problem is countries on shutdown are slowing down oil usage like we have never seen before so hard to see oil recover for a while yet and then add in oil trade wars

took china 3 months and only now are they starting to slowly switch things back online, UK and many other countries only at early stage shutdowns

When there is blood on the streets including ones own, that is the time to buy. Got my limit order in 900p here and 190p at BP.

I've sizeable limit orders in all the way to 50p!

Longer term, I'll not lose out and probably won't get the same opportunity again in my lifetime.

It’s been time to buy all the way down and people thought previous lows were crazy prices and time to buy but it keeps getting lower. I think we’ve more to go yet but if you’re not in it’s certainly a good point if you intend to hold for a year or two.

Re-entered the stock market today after a few years out. Bought a few of these @960. Time will tell if that's a good buy but it does seem a crazy price at the moment. Planning to hold for a couple of years at least.
Good luck all.

wow what a move in oil and RDSB both down over 10%

unfortunately looks like it could get cheaper as oil price continues to slide with the virus shutdown and oil price wars

light at end of tunnel is virus in china is slowing down, so perhaps drop will only last for a few months

Any view on RDSA vs RDSB price differential. I thought B normally had a slight premium but its now over 50-60p in favour of A. Bankruptcy risk looks higher on B but surely not a factor, guess maybe short term worry. Looks like an Arb opportunity to me? Thoughts?
