Spud, best hope is the mortality rates of 1-2% are being wildly overestimated.

There is another potential upside scenario - the virus could either burn itself
out or begin to weaken with travel.

I thought they were only on animal testing with the vaccines, but one is ready for human trials apparently.
Record time for development is the Zika vaccine, from memory, think that was around 7-9 months.

following trend up to resistences hoping for a break

following trend down thru supports hoping for breaks

if the is a dull quiet period one ca await the divi

As many have said

muppethedge is crying like an infant because he got caught out on MCRO.

He was ramping MCRO like crazy when I went short at 1138p just over 3 weeks ago and again at around 800p - closed today just over £7. Okay slightly down on recent Shell trades by 7% and 11%. But that paper loss has been covered 20 times over by shorting MCRO - the easiest money I've ever made.

Any muppet ramper that bought MCRO in at 1138p now needs a 63% rise just to get back to break even. You would think such a person should focus attention there rather than elsewhere.

No nor do I. But.....until we see evidence of mass deaths both here and in Europe as a result of this virus and the crematoriums working overtime, this (to my mind at least) is still a severe dose of the flu.

Headlines sell papers and the BBC loves (to distort) a good story, so until that changes, we'll continue to be whipped into an end of life frenzy.

Mark, it was slightly said in jest.
Obvs none of us know the future, over last summer who would have said near £17 a share 6/7 months later...
