27/2/2020 15:07 | adg Insanity is buying this all the way down from 2250p, number on here catching falling knife is insanity. Called this right to 1775p from 2250p, now its spreading, 2016 low. | montyhedge

27/2/2020 15:03 | what staggers me is the extreme rate of decline in such a small space of time. Looking at the weekly chart on ig I cannot see such a sharp decline. The market always overshoots so could there be a sharp rebound at any point once people come to their senses? looking at the charts I see 1600 area as next big support then we have 1261. | supermarky
27/2/2020 14:56 | monty - you are a bit repetitive, you got nothing better to do than that? “The definition of insanity is repeating the same things over and over again and expecting different results” | adg

27/2/2020 14:42 | @Spud, Biggest hit will be economic I am sure. But if it is worse than Chinese official figures imply, then we could be in for a fair few heartbreaking moments along the way. Key countries to keep an eye on imo are Skorea, Singapore - both of whom seem to be covering this honestly. Fingers crossed but it will soon be time to take similar precautions as those in China, Hongkong and co. | crossing_the_rubicon
27/2/2020 14:24 | Gosport, thanks for the view. | essentialinvestor
27/2/2020 14:24 | I think this is liable to take the form of a 'V'-shaped crisis, with consequent recovery being fairly rapid too (from the very bottom anyway). That's the only consolation I can think of for anyone actually holding badly affected stocks in this crisis. That also means when the bounce comes, bottom-pickers need to be ready! | cassini
