Sales revenue to date and the strength of the order book support our view that
we expect to achieve profits for the current year at the upper end of market
forecasts.


Following a period of slower order intake, certain markets and geographic areas
that we serve are showing signs of increased activity, from which we expect to
benefit in 2010. Nevertheless, we anticipate the current competitive environment
will remain challenging for some time, although we are encouraged that project
visibility and the number of quotations remain positive.


The continued weakness of sterling continues to benefit the Group's competitive
position and reported trading results.

Well, my DCF says this is worth about £14.50.

The only thing nagging at me slightly is the increased use of derivatives; the 2008 balance sheet is showing derivative liabilities of £7.3m, up from £0.5m the previous year. The annual report says these are for foreign exchange hedging, which makes sense. Just hope these are the plainest of plain vanilla horward hedges, and the balance sheet is showing maximum expected loss.

Yep, ROR has superior stats for a long term hold. Return on equity without debt is fantastic as is return on capital epmloyed etc. It's definitely not a zulu though. Wish that I still had a small holding here but am all out unfortunately.

I can't ignore the technicals - I bought a few on this breakout. Set a limit sell at 1385 though. I'll probably end up cancelling as price approaches.
