03/9/2024 12:44 | We all agree the contract win represents a significant milestone that underscores the company's potential to capitalise on its spend data analytics expertise. It demonstrates the firm's ability to secure high-value contracts (which they used to do regularly), and signal turning point in its market credibility. Buyers of spend analytic solutions will not ignore this and it will provide the firm a short term advantage they must take advantage of. However, this must be weighed against the backdrop of the company's historic appalling leadership and management challenges. This has killed growth and shattered investor confidence, resulting in atrocious performance and strategic missteps. The new contract might help to put a short term floor to confidence, but the lingering effects of the leadership failures pose real risks. This doesn’t vindicate them one little bit it shows how rubbish they have been over the last few years – one swallow doesn’t make a summer. Without a clear and effective change to address these issues, which includes strengthening leadership and corporate governance structures, the company will simply repeat the past. | private38
28/8/2024 14:43 | @harry123, not a chance of delivering £8.3M in 30 days. Will be interesting to hear what Chairman says about that statement at the AGM due at latest in October. Latest forecasts are way out of line with Watts' statement on ARR. Fund raising will be at c50% discount to last time, which was embarrassing. | 1jki
23/8/2024 10:26 | Well done for winning the contract with Amazon. Impressive client and an excellent sales pitch must have been made. I am aware of 2 other parties who pitched and have strong solutions also, so well done again Rosslyn sales team. Talking ARR this is Annual Recurring Revenue, the 2 million is over 3 years and therefore this equates to 700k ARR. We are still 8.3 million ARR short of stated objective and only 30 days to find it. Only question outstanding, can Rosslyn actually deliver what has has been sold / promised. Lead developer may want to address this matter with investors. | harry163
22/8/2024 16:37 | management not great and stil not sure about Amazon ..Not clear yet .. funding management lifestyle still unchanged let's see | maty
21/8/2024 21:02 | If RDT can piggyback off Amazon to develop a product / service that becomes engrained within AMZN's ecosystem then the potential customer base is moosive..! Exciting times and happy to average down through funding. (Wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility; due to the significant new client and length of contract that some loan could be negotiated over dilution?) | cloudwars
21/8/2024 20:55 | Quite exciting: "Accordingly, the Customer and Rosslyn have also established a co-innovation partnership, with the Customer providing funding for the development of next-generation technology, including AI elements, to enhance Rosslyn's platform." | cloudwars
21/8/2024 14:24 | Basically the market thought it was dead, I thought it was dead, it may well need some funding but its alive..........! | chrisdgb
21/8/2024 13:23 | Amazon will not buy it. Amazon will not buy out its suppliers. | kingston78
21/8/2024 12:54 | Would be cheaper for Amazon to buy RDT it is so cheap ? | maty
21/8/2024 10:07 | PE<3? Clearly the contract is great news but even with it, the broker has cut revenue forecasts substantially for the next two years and they're still forecasting a loss through 2026. As Hastings says, a placing is very likely. | wjccghcc
21/8/2024 09:34 | TechMarketView Rosslyn DataAnalytics-as-a-S The company expects to report revenue of £2.9m (down 3.3% on FY23) and ARR of £2.3m (down 2.2%), citing “protracted timelines associated with contract negotiations for sizeable new opportunities” as the main reason for the reduction. However, since year-end, Rosslyn has secured a 2-year renewal with one of its largest customers (with contract value increasing by 20%) and a 3-year £2m deal with “one of the world’s largest technology companies”. Rosslyn reported a “better than expected” EBITDA loss of £3.3m (up from £2.4m in FY23) as the company began to rebuild its business following a period of significant restructuring – see Rosslyn focuses on a single product (FY23’s figures also reflected the profit generated from the sale of discontinued operations). The company ran successful proof-of-concept projects of its new Artificial Intelligence Classification Engine (AiCE) with four key customers during FY24, with the solution becoming operational with its first customer in April 2024 (it’s now live with the other three too). Rosslyn expects to make AiCE generally available by the end of H1 2025 (when it will be sold as an additional classification-as-a- | aishah
21/8/2024 09:05 | Would the likes of Amazon have been interested in RDT's previous product offering? Watts and Co must be doing something right as the DD would have been insanely thorough. | cloudwars
21/8/2024 08:51 | Great news, I was ready to do my monthly missive on the lack of info and the lack of ARR. A long way to go to get the the £9M of extra ARR, but a massive step forward. With so many people having left the company let's hope they can deliver to this demanding customer. The 2024 results show why they had to wait for this contract before announcing anything. Let's not forget the share price was over £3.50 when Watts took over and the company was profitable. Share price still 50% lower after todays hike than the last fund raising. | 1jki
21/8/2024 08:29 | I continue to average down GLA LTHers! BLUE by COP! | kemche
21/8/2024 08:24 | These fake buys are used by market makers to give you the impression of a rising share They know a placing is coming and likely they have a whole bunch to shift So what do they do Use fake buys which are later reversed to pump the price so the gullible toads actually buy and they are dumped on A tactic used again and again in the shady world of aim | blakesmith
21/8/2024 08:22 | The main bit I like is "the strategic decision to appoint an external provider rather than developing an in-house solution". I bought a small amount for the first time !!! GLA | parsons4
21/8/2024 08:10 | Yes, they may as well just come out and name the new client as Amazon. Great validation - I'm accumulating! | cloudwars
21/8/2024 07:51 | We have one of the finest BODs on the market so shouldn't be a problem. Could do with another consolidation soon too. | kemche
21/8/2024 07:50 | Yes. It says so in the trading update. | babbler
21/8/2024 07:49 | I mean they already said that in the trading update today so..Yeah. | babbler
21/8/2024 07:49 | I suspect they'll be undertaking another raise in the coming months if they can get it away. | hastings
21/8/2024 07:41 | They have told us their monthly cash burn rate and current cash. Seems pretty simple to me. I am going to get some more soon. | kemche
21/8/2024 07:38 | I think that the company will use this positive news and higher share price to place shares to raise some money. It may only have £500k left in the bank. | kingston78 |
