Hi Dell

If you see them as my friends then your my friend too Dell, as I know you as much as I know them. For completness heres the full RNS:

RDF Group PLC

("RDF" or "the Company")

Continued Share Price Movement

The Board of RDF Group PLC (AIM: RFG), the IT services company, with offices in Brighton, Bristol, Edinburgh and London, has noted the continued rise in the Company's share price and speculation in the press today regarding its results for the six months to 30 September 2007 which are due to be released on 6 December 2007.

The Board expects that the results for the six months to 30 September 2007 will show a significant increase in turnover but a decline in the Group's profits for the first half of the year compared to the same period in 2006 as a result of the increased costs and reduced margins related to the continued investment in the business to build its profile as a niche I.T. services group.

Consequently, the Board now believes that the Company's profits for the period to 30 September 2007 will be materially less than the results for the same period in 2006. However, trading in the second half of the year is strong and indications are that the results for the full year will reflect significantly improved profitability in the second half.

31 October 2007

MM's now taking advange of year end tax selling and walking the share price down on little or no volume. This may be heading back under 50p in quick time.
That said, I agree with kennerland in that RFG should have a better H2.

People should be aware that RDF Group has a ticker of RFG

This one has hardly been noticed by the market, yet it paid an interim dividend of 0.75p pence per share. Sales more than doubled to £9.19 million, (2004: £4.23 million) resulting in a profit before tax of £555,000 (2004: £227,000). Post tax profits for the period were £369,000 (2004: £147,000), equating to earnings per share of 3.55p (2004: 1.41p).
Currently, at 47.5p the cap is only 4.9m.
So why is the market not aware of it?
Well its majority shareholder, Tony Antoniades, owns more than 90% of the company, so we have a very low free float. This means that any news will move the share price very quickly indeed. Conversely, bad news would see the share price marked down. However, it is already profitable.
Going forward, I would like to see further progress in the business, so that either Antoniades sells some of his holding or issues new shares direct to institutions. With such a low cap, this one has yet to come to their attentions.
Watshot expect full year sales of £18.45 million, with pre-tax profits of £1.1 million. Post tax, they are looking at eps of 7p per share. A total year dividend payout of 1.75p is possible.

HugePants - believe we have met before on another thread.
Will have a closer look at the accounts of VIG.
Probably like me the crowd has not taken too close a look.
I am in IDN and DMP at present as well, and dont want to keep changing around too much cause of cost. But at an appropriate time may well buy more of RFG, and even some of VIG.
I've had a bad period since April what with EVS, but am now going back to fundamentals and low pe ratios, to help pick up the losses but it will be slow.
RFG could be one of those shares that when the market warms to it, could be much higher.

I cant say that I am totally convinced about VIG though.
The only problem with RFG if the director is making shares available is that it could suspress the price a little. However this is only a short thing, and if profits if the performance keeps up, then I can see this stock going places. An acorn taking root.

If you like RFG then VIG may be of interest since its a similarly cheap IT company. Market cap is 3.7M but did 0.45M pre-tax profit (before goodwill write-off) in H1. Strong outlook so should do 0.9M pre-tax (before goodwill) for the full year. Valued barely above net liquid assets. Using cash to make acquisitions so not paying a dividend. I hold a lot of VIG shares (I also hold RFG shares)
