Shares of RockRose Energy PLC (RRE.LN) rose nearly four-fold in early trade Monday as the company returned from suspension, having completed its reverse takeover of Idemitsu Petroleum UK Ltd.
RockRose said last October that it was buying Idemitsu Petroleum from Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. (5019.TO) in a deal that was classified as a reverse takeover under Stock Exchange rules, which also required its shares to be suspended.
The shares resumed trading Monday, climbing to a high of 393 pence. They are currently up 263 pence at 390 pence.
