The Legislative Assembly and government of the Falklands will focus in the coming months on addressing the issue of oil development in the Islands. ? Chancellor Cameron gave full support to the development of the oil industry in the Falklands and also made suggestions regarding funding. The Falkland Islands government has announced that following a meeting to prioritize issues on the Islands' agenda it had been decided that for the coming months the focus would be on the development of the oil industry, in particular the preparation program for The anticipated start of its execution could begin next year, according to several notices published by the oil company Navitas. In terms of priorities in the chapter of the capital investment program, the issue of the Port and the Electricity Supply Plant remain with higher priority, although other projects will not be ignored, especially those that need replacement or improvement for reasons of obsolescence and/or or expiration.
