It is actually a worst form of gambling than sports betting. Betfair will not give me more than £900 a month deposit limit even though I have proof I always win from following football tipsters. It is far safer than shares since you can only gain money every week. This is why I am so mad at myself for choosing shares over the sports betting.

I stay up really late gambling, but set the alarm for 7.45 am .Then back to sleep if required. I've got into all these world sports now like NFL through gambling .Wished i hadn't lol .

I was lucky that I had never held shares until the pandemic and it was pretty easy to make money after the crash .I had a guy ring me from IG and I argued with him that dealing shares was gambling .According to the Govt ,its not classed as gambling ?.How can it not be if you can lose ?I have had problems all my life through gambling ,so I should know lol ?

Well I am surprised how good you are at getting up every morning considering you stay up late posting and go to the potters wheel most nights. I often go back to sleep if no news when I check at 7 and because spread betting is risky I will have the alarm clock on at 8 if I'm lucky enough to go back to sleep after checking.

If QBT get some good news before they do a placing then they will save me too. I use ig and spread x for my spread bets and ig share deal and Hargreaves and langsdown for my sharedealing. At least all gains will be tax free because of these losses.

It is great to be long term with a share. I often think I am missing out on opportunities being stuck in one share. However I have had a few gains of about two grand each and one gain of 10 grand and I am still 40 grand down out of 130 grand since October last year. Your fate is Rockhopper and mine is with Oriole.

Do you get up every morning before market open to check to see if Rockhopper has announced?.
That is what I do with all my shares.
Sometimes gives an opportunity to buy even more if it’s really good news.

I've heard the Rock Hopper natural blonde is a firm favourite down here nowadays so looking forward to trying it - kerching 🍺

For the benefit of newbies , this Gozza character thinks he’s a Bernard Manning character …
When making his posts he is fantasising about an audience laughing at his almost every word … the pauses and the question marks he uses give this away .

He thinks he is addressing thousands of people in the fantasy world he is in ,and this helps distract him from the reality that he has no audience for him at all .
