04/12/2020 21:09 | I think you have it right Gozzie. The 'disputed waters thing' is sadly a British neurosis. The FIG environment is a dream compared with most oil areas around the world. US companies won't at all be fearful here if they believe there is money to be made. The British are paying for substantial defence too for free!! This could be a monster share, and even if it doesn't happen we have the hopeful OM fall-back. | chinahere
04/12/2020 21:06 | Well I've been saying that a while about the govt on climate .Thats why we needed someone that wasn't in absolute need of the loan. | gozzie2

04/12/2020 19:54 | Yes I dont see why they need Navitas either . | gozzie2
04/12/2020 19:53 | What are the reasons Sealion wouldn't be attractive if the oil price is right. I've never bought this argument about disputed waters, I dont see that putting them off . | gozzie2
04/12/2020 19:47 | I think you may be right Gozzie. They would probably like a UKEF loan as it would be cheap money, but they wouldn't need one. The circa $2 billion it would cost to develop Sea Lion is still 10% of EIGs investments though, so they would need to at least think twice. It is a no-brainer though at $50+ oil. The question is how attractive will Sea Lion be to them? If I liked it I would eject Navitas (then having 70%) and then offer an equity or percentage royalty deal with Rockhopper. | chinahere
04/12/2020 19:39 | Do they need a Ukef applicationHarbour Energy is externally managed by EIG. EIG specializes in private investments in energy and energy-related infrastructure on a global basis and had $21.9 billion under management as of September 30, 2020. | gozzie2
04/12/2020 19:36 | Why does Chrysaor need a loan they are backed large funders . | gozzie2
