23/7/2019 11:34 | Simon we know the gold in the ground alone is worth many times today's market cap. I know it will need investment or a partner with the cash to mine it but still worth a lot more than where we are today. How much copper and how much more will be proved is the big question. New to ROCK, just filter the burnt troll and DYOR. | ![]() bill hickman
23/7/2019 11:23 | oh dear! yet another alias hickory can't face the truth: CAN'T FILTER A 'BLUEY'!! shame, that! NW and PJ are both sitting on HUGE paper losses! Imagine if they decided to call it a day!! I wouldn't be surprised if there is a placing @ sub 0.50 'excited' managemnt sitting on it's hands ---- not buying a single share! multi-alias rampers appearing on BBs | ![]() 2magpies
23/7/2019 11:18 | Simon don't waste your time on a burnt troll. He bought in during 2018 paid a much higher price than we are, ramped it like mad posted time and time again what a great company it was and how high it was going. We have the last laugh buying in at a much lower price. Filter the burnt troll and he can read his own rubbish as he posts to himself. | ![]() bill hickman
23/7/2019 11:10 | stop ramping you 'can't-afford-the-mo how many aliases do you post under?? DP can get 'excited' but he IS NOT BUYING ANYMORE SHARES!! OK??? Got that?? The share price chart CLEARLY shows that, to date, DP has been an utter failure! one by one, drip drip drip, over months/years ROCK might drop each one of it's hoop-la 'prospects', and then...... radio silence ........and then de-listing ........I wouldn't be surprised.......... it's been the script for many many Aussie 'mining' outfits! (and many, many fundraisings on the way, of course!!) As I said NO USP!! | ![]() 2magpies
23/7/2019 10:22 | Another admission of defeat by DP! And he is STILL banging on about 'Five iamond drill holes from drilling in 1972"! that's 1 9 7 2 for cryin' out loud!! So, for 47 years, that's FORTYSEVEN YEARS ......... no one else has noticed?? All the mining giants have ALL overlooked this mountain of copper? Now he says 'management is excited'! Well, that's alright then...... tinnies all round, eh David Oh to see the look on Mr. Somerset -Leeke's face now! It wouldn't come as surprise to me if the whole thing fizzles out without anything meaningful being found ---the fate of countless Aussie explorers (they used to call themselves 'miners' or 'resource' companies -- haha!) There are hundreds of Aussie outfits still doing what the one-man 'digger' lot were doing in the 19th century! ROCK is just another one -- no USP!! | ![]() 2magpies
23/7/2019 09:45 | TIDM: ROCK RNS Number : 4170G Rockfire Resources PLC 23 July 2019 23 July 2019 Rockfire Resources plc ("Rockfire", "the Company" or "the Group") Update on Papua New Guinea Licence Rockfire Resources plc (LON: ROCK), the Queensland copper and gold-focused resource company, announces that a decision has been made by the Minister for Mining in Papua New Guinea not to renew the Company's Nakru licence (EL1462). This licence, which has been under ministerial review since September 2017, was the only licence retained in PNG by the Company. In reaching this conclusion, the Minister noted that the Company has held the tenement for five renewal periods (since 2012) but no resources have been identified. In accordance with its strategy, Rockfire will continue to focus on its 100%-owned, large-scale and highly promising Australian gold and copper projects in Queensland. Chief Executive Officer of Rockfire, David Price commented: "Today's announcement signifies the Group's exit from Papua New Guinea, a process which began almost two years ago under the direction of the then new management team, with the objective of focusing on more favourable jurisdictions and prospects that, the directors believe, can be more readily advanced to a JORC resource. This has recently been supported by our maiden gold resource at Lighthouse in Queensland, something we also plan to achieve at our Copperhead Project, also in Queensland." "Copperhead is a coherent and sizable surface copper anomaly 3km x 2km in area. Five diamond drill holes from drilling in 1972 encountered visible copper and molybdenum minerals throughout their lengths, including two holes which were 300m long. Results of all samples collected throughout the 5 drill holes average 0.35% copper equivalent. Potentially, Copperhead hosts a minimum of 300m of continuous copper mineralisation, with all holes terminating with visible copper minerals still present." "Copper Dome, also in Queensland, is a porphyry copper project with previous drilling results including 15m @ 0.88% Cu (including 4.5m @ 2.28% Cu), 12m @ 0.61% Cu (including 3m @ 1.24% Cu) and 51m @ 0.20g/t gold." "Rockfire is preparing for its maiden drilling program at Copperhead and management is excited to be testing such a large-scale target. The market will be informed once drilling commences." | ![]() soultrading |
