20/5/2019 11:38 | Another pointless RNS. Should have waited for news on licence and put the two out together -- wouldn't need a lot of brainpower to work that one out. Also, would have saved money by issuing just one RNS. Keep dreaming pete -- a whole year has gone by and the share price has gone from 2.4 to 0.75 It has been re-rated already. | 2magpies
20/5/2019 09:00 | well you know a re rate is on the cards when the trolls come out to play , fantastic news and much more to come ! | petebarnes1
20/5/2019 08:18 | Saving best til last perhaps. Lab samples went in around the same time. | paleje
20/5/2019 08:00 | Another typical ROCK RNS: ".... Historical rock samples" ".....extend the soil sampling to the north" Never mind 'extend', find the damn gold in the area you've already got!! And who cares about 'historical' samples? -- after all whoever found those didn't bother taking it further. Why? Oh: nd NO news on the licence. Is this just desperate news management? Disappointing news imminent? | 2magpies
20/5/2019 07:18 | Fantastic news!!!An absolute bargain if you still buy a share for less than a penny!!!#GOLD | simondunmore
20/5/2019 07:16 | 20 May 2019 Rockfire Resources plc ("ROCK", "Rockfire" or "the Company") Cardigan Dam returns broad, coherent gold anomaly Rockfire Resources plc (LON: ROCK), the gold and base metal-focused resource company, is pleased to announce that recent soil sampling at the Cardigan Dam Prospect, part of the Lighthouse tenement in Queensland, Australia, has returned a promising gold-in-soil anomaly. · Two broad gold-in-soil anomalous trends detected · Each trend is approximately 400m long x 100m wide in dimension · The anomaly remains open along strike length · Soil results up to 205ppb (0.2ppm) Au · 14% of all soil samples have results above 20ppb Au · Historical rock samples identify anomalous gold up to 11.4 g/t Au at surface Cardigan Dam lies within the southern limits of the Lighthouse tenement. As part of the recent soil survey at Cardigan Dam, 240 soil samples were collected over an area of approximately 400m x 400m. Exploration at Cardigan Dam was initiated as part of Rockfire's on-going, systematic assessment of each of its gold and copper targets within the Lighthouse tenement. A link is provided below which illustrates the distribution and magnitude of the gold-in-soil results. David Price, Chief Executive Officer of Rockfire commented; "Rockfire's strategy of systematic, cost-effective and rapid appraisal of each of its prospects has resulted in the definition of a distinct gold-in-soil anomaly at the Cardigan Dam Prospect. The gold values, up to 0.2ppm Au, represent strong anomalism and provide a clear target for further investigation. "The gold-in-soil distribution outlines two linear zones and suggests an intersection of a northeast and an east-west structure, with the intersection point being in the north-eastern corner of the survey grid. Importantly, the gold strengthens towards the north of the strike area and extends beyond the limits of the survey. For this reason, the Company's systematic evaluation of Cardigan Dam will extend the soil sampling to the north, to explore the extent of surface mineralisation. The market will be informed as we progress our exploration of this prospect." "In the meantime, access to Copperhead is being re-established following the wet season in Queensland. An IP geophysical survey is planned for Copperhead in order to determine if sulphide accumulations can be detected at depths below 150m from surface." | cpap man
19/5/2019 01:17 | No red flags here mate. I've been happy to keep adding while the share price is at this low level. Only upside from here IMO. DYOR. | simondunmore
18/5/2019 21:12 | I don't see any big red flag on the chart. Long term it is in pretty much a horizontal trend. Short term it has broken up from the short term down trend which, in isolation, is positive. If it were to break through .8 on any substantial volume then 1.5 or higher could be achieved in short order. No particularly strong indicators either way but it isn't a sell based on technical chart data imo. | geko5trade
18/5/2019 18:35 | Charts often are at this stage but when they turn it can be difficult to catch and if the news is right and the rise holds then it starts to make sense. On 27 Feb DP tweeted "We have a busy schedule ahead for the coming months, including expansion of Double Event soil sampling & mineralization modeling for both Plateau & Double Event in preparation for maiden resource estimates" MRE's should give the share price some stability. | paleje
18/5/2019 14:28 | Look at that pump and dump on the charts. Surely anyone holding here over the last 12 months is very disappointed? Fundamental aside, granted I know very little having only a peripheral interest here. I'll do more reading but the chart is a big red flag | plat hunter
17/5/2019 10:42 | Well that's why he's got to get to grips with it 2mags, to turn it into tangible value which investors can relate to. He has expressed an intention to do that, it would be better for the share price than spikes. I'm uneasy about some things but still on board. Turbo, 'yet' isn't comforting:) I don't mind placings as long as they're sensible. | paleje
17/5/2019 10:25 | Just look at all the soopa-doopa sounding RNSs over the last year, and then look at the chart: says it all! Nothing -- absolutely nothing has actually been delivered - just keep on going to another field, and another, and another ...... | 2magpies
17/5/2019 10:25 | Positive RNS could drop at any time. Buy today or risk missing out on the rerate IMO. DYOR. | simondunmore
17/5/2019 10:17 | There is no placing yet I have it in writing | turbotrader2
17/5/2019 10:15 | paleje the 'other stuff' may turn out to be just that: 'stuff' As for 2 brokers: all the better for raising more funds through! Should have just left it as PML -- far too many Aussie 'explorers' already scavenging (sorry, 'exploring') through old areas 'explored' to death by previous diggers. I wouldn't be surprised if they dress up a dud announcement with 'there is a really exciting hillock over near Ulan Bator -- we are global now, didn't you know -- and the 'historic' magnetic -what-have-you looks amazing............ | 2magpies
17/5/2019 10:04 | I don't think Copperdome is the be-all end-all, 2mags, although being AIM I agree the share price would suffer if they pass and there's no balancing news. But there's plenty of other stuff for DP to get to grips with, he'll need more funds so I'm hoping there will be some good news to help get them at a sensible price. 2 brokers now, that wasn't done for no reason, we may all be surprised. I hope pleasantly needless to say. | paleje
17/5/2019 08:21 | Well, I'm prepared to be criticised, but I'm saying: the option will NOT be exercised. Just 4 days to go, I find it hard to believe that they have absolutely NO indication of positive assay, this close to the 23rd. A bit of a shambles. What if assay results are not received by the 23rd?? A negative RNS at this point will, imo, crash the share price Mr. Market is in no mood for another 'jam tomorrow' pronouncement. If I'm wrong, so be it - I shall freely admit it, and post accordingly. | 2magpies
16/5/2019 10:56 | I don't think you are being impartial with your comment and inference. Actually ROCK have been quick to announce all news, positive, negative and everything in between. | geko5trade
16/5/2019 08:54 | When the news is good, ROCK are ultra quick in putting out an RNS. May be they've got the assay results and are looking at them 'portrait' and 'landscape' to see which way around they look good enough!! Is that why the decision-making is looking so long? | 2magpies
16/5/2019 08:39 | Still 5 trading days, hardly "last minute" considering RNS could drop any minute and share price rockets up.-Shakes head and sighs- | simondunmore
16/5/2019 08:29 | 23rd is now very, very close. Leaving it to the last minute - usually that doesn't bode well. | 2magpies

14/5/2019 15:18 | Nice tick up. News imminent? | simondunmore
