Hi Oxman, you look a bit lonely here so I thought I would join in. I think we will hit your 280p TP but not until next Feb FY-21 results and realistic hopes of a significant improvement in margins. I thought the statements yesterday pointed to a flattish FY-21 what with restricted access to clients and the distractions of major moves in warehousing & IT.

More emphasis on remote learning with schools shut, is that a big plus for rm? Not sure myself. But priority placed on education currently has to be.

Added a few more 204p. Good recent update and looking left behind again having sunk back from 240p.

If you think this board is quite you should check LSE. Nothing for 3 years!

It used to be a low margin supplier of school resources. But it should be rated as a software/tech stock since that's where its heading.

Bought in c 175p. Shares have been hammered by covid but this is a decent company providing a valuable service and and deserves to bounce back. Im sure it will.

I suspect that sharp jump this afternoon is due to a leak of news.

I think RM is a prime take over candidate - I guess we will know for sure in the morning.

This will strengthen RM's capability in the e-testing market as well as extending its international reach.

RNS this morning:

"RM plc, a leading supplier of IT software and services to the UK and international education markets, has acquired SoNET Systems Pty Ltd ("SoNET") for a consideration of £7.3 million.

Headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, SoNET provides Software as a Service platforms principally to the education and government sectors.

Acquisition highlights:

· SoNET's e-testing software augments RM's existing e-marking capability. This will enable RM Results to offer full end-to-end digital assessment services in the online testing and marking of exams to both existing and new customers.

· This acquisition will open new market opportunities and accelerate the growth of the RM Results division.

· SoNET delivered revenues of £3m in the year to 30 April 2019 and brings several new customers to the Group in Asia Pacific and Europe.

Commenting on the acquisition, David Brooks, Chief Executive of RM, said:

"SoNET is a business that RM knows well and has previously worked with successfully. This acquisition demonstrates RM's ambition to invest in new technology and will help accelerate international growth.

Digital assessment is a growing segment within the education market and RM Results has established itself as a market leader. The addition of SoNET's expertise will further strengthen our ability to capitalise on this growth opportunity."
