robb, those who have posted so far on this thread will be able to attend. And if they want to bring one friend, who IS a member of advfn, then thats ok. I'm a bit pressed for time now cos i'm going away for a week, so won't be able to post till friday 29th. But anyone who has posted above this notice, will definitely be able to come, with friends if they are advfn members (free or premium)

When we met at the recent D+S London night out you espoused the merits of EAMRIC and with such an interesting evening planned it would be too good an opportunity to miss. Could you put me down as a non-member attendee if you have places left. Assuming that is ok can you let me know about deposit details. Nearer the time I would also be grateful if you could recommend a b+b or pub to stay. Thanks.

By popular demand, the next EAMRIC (East Anglian Mountain Rescue Investment Club) Dinner, is actually going to be a TRADING SEMINAR.

We have taken over a restaurant in Cambridge on the evening of Thursday 18th January 2001 for the event which will be guided by rvtaylor, an experienced City trader. The format will be 3 or 4 experienced traders will talk about their trading style (how they pick trades, how they execute them etc) and then open for discussion what they have said. We will have projector and screen and internet access. Speakers who have confirmed that they can come are rvtaylor, dodddy and gausie. If anyone is interested, I can speak about futures daytrading.

The restaurant holds 24 and we wil have a few places available to non eamric members, so I am throwing the seminar open to anyone, on a first come first served basis, from ADVFN who wants to come to Cambridge and be involved. The seminar will start at 6.30pm. Dinner will be about 9pm. Drinking will be continuous.

It will be an informal, educational and fun evening. There is no charge for either the room or the seminar, you just pay for what you eat and drink, although I will be taking deposits to prevent "no-shows". Miss it if you dare.

Please post below if you want to come. Remember, it is first come first served and numbers are limited..

I am away from tomorrow (Friday 22nd) for 1 week, so I won't be able to post anything else till I Friday 29th.
