I like the time gap! This is a high quality company. I've looked at it several times with a view to buying but have not yet done so. would certainly buy on weakness.

It's always been quiet - given the picture over the last year or so, it's not that surprising, but what's woken it up again I'm not sure. A bit of news of course, but nothing I wouldn't have thought to cause this sort of rise. Not a holder myself, just follow it from general interest in the sector.

And of course the share price doesn't tell the full story because it's been paying a dividend for most if not all of that time - with dividends reinvested it would have been an even more stellar performance.

When this thread was started in 2003 when share price was less than £3 entitled "I am calling the bottom" who would have foreseen passing a record share price of £9 in 2015 after the worst financial crash in living memory in 2008

interesting that they drew down £9M on a new debt facility to give a cash level of £20M. Could an acquisition be on the horizon?

Indeed -surprised there is not more interest in this quality company. I really need some earnings upgrades to justify buying as the valuation now looking fairly full.

Hey might as well repeat the above. Anyway have a read of today's update. Very solid indeed. What a good company this is. No mention of impact from Euroland slowing or anything negative. Probably because their main customers in autos are global players. Well positioned company which seems to be wining some good new business.

Very solid looking results. Nice dividend increase. Strong order book and confident outlook statement.

Big volume today - unclear if its Buy/Sell but recent fillings suggest some selling going on

I'm holding but will be over the Atlantic when they release tmw, ah well - hoping no nasty surprise on landing but placing stop in case...

I really don't know.I guess I could wheel out strength of sterling,concerns about China and the like but it doesn't really explain the size of the pull back.This remains a favourite of Questor I believe.Loosely I regard this as a Kentz-like company.Well managed,a niche engineering operation.You can't go far wrong with the company on the current rating which is not demanding.
