What does it say?

I'm not sure we see all the volume for either side. From experience of watching the daily dealing declarations for the Pace-Arris merger, some of the arb players used cfds and swaps to build their positions, so if they have willing counter-parties with existing positions would they need to declare any "trades" through the channels that we watch?

I think the volume says it all.

Interesting to look at 5-day charts of YuMe and R1.

R1 fell fairly steadily from 37 to 33.5 and then bounced around the lower level.

The YuMe price on the other hand has been pretty much locked between about $4.66 and about $4.70 for the last 5 trading days. Very little volatility.

Does that mean big buyer below $4.66 and big seller above $4.70? If so, why?

There are some posters on here that will never make any money...you are gifted the double play - the arbitrage, if your balls are a little small....cover.

The deal looks to favour us - they need us far more than we need them..... either sell up, cover or grow some.

This is being played for sure - join the game, we can't get beat in my honest opinion - if you think otherwise, sell up, move on and stop grizzling on here!

Wow, that was a clap of thunder!

Use your common sense guys. Have a look at the balance sheet number quoted in that article to get a feel for how much in-depth research that particular law firm has done on the company. It is fairly standard practice I think for some US law firms to try to get class actions together when there is corporate activity.

What would worry me more from the R1 side is if Edenbrook's name were associated with a lawsuit or SEC filing trying to stop, or change the terms of, the merger, but I haven't seen any sign of that.

Of course you could always hedge yourselves by taking a position in YuMe, not that that should be taken as advice...

Well that's me buying R1 a couple of times and trying to call the bottom with the arb stuck at about 5%. Very little trading volume in either share it seems to me so I'm hoping there's little arb enthusiasm left and people can concentrate on building stakes in both companies from here.

No advice intended.

Might Brian move into motivational speaking? After dinner talks and the like? The Tony Blair of the ad tech world?

Can Ted talk? Does anyone know what he sounds like? Lee Marvin? Clint? Will he sound as charismatic as Brian, the speaking clock of adtech presentations?

I guess it all depends on how big the loss is and the reasons for it?
