My guess Berkpoo is that they are looking to find new ways to "hide" those humongous profits.

The petty cash tin is full so they cannot be hidden there.

Behind the clock is full.

Under the bed is rammed.

Directors bank accounts are stuffed.

Yes clearly this is the reason for the delay.

Profits so massive they are having problems in hiding them.

Has it occurred to you that the trading update - cannot be made available due to a binding or formal agreement?

Now I do not know this to be the case - but not posting a t/u tells me they are either very confident, or legally required to take this course of action.

A Company does not delay bad news - just compounds the inevitable!
