15/4/2018 12:45 | dealy, Yep, in some countries, qxl and ebay were the duopoly... understanding qxl business, their market, competitors and customers was crucial.. It took around 4 yrs for qxl to gain approx 100x or 10,000% and was bought by Napsers for approx £500m... Enough so that there's no worry on any other holdings... Recently it was sold by Napsers for $3.25bln... nearly 6 x more than we received... and it's still going strong!!! Top 10 some of the ex-holders bought into 1R, ex Blnx... Twiga, Jw, rf, Freddie, Bravedave.. From 2008 until 2011, I watched Blnx... I even commented in 2008 that I believed there was a pump & dump going on... lol ;-) | sikhthetech
15/4/2018 12:44 | Gowlane - your toilet will be swirling so much to the TLY beat it will end by gyrating to Elvis singing, Suspicious Minds. Yes - you have been caught in a trap! Now say thank you to Johnny Boy!! lol | barkboo
15/4/2018 12:35 | Off Piste - many thanks to BMac for keeping investors informed with European GDPR Directive requirements, and explaining how Johnny Boy should be giving TLY readers the same thoughts that he presents here so vigorously. "Continued£In keeping with your own high standards and philosophy of ensuring investors are informed I think it only proper and appropriate that I do indeed inform those naive investors on the Totally Plc bulletin boards about your thoughts in relation to the European GDPR Directive requirements and how the costs of implementing that Directive and maintaining it thereafter will impact on Totallys fragile bottom line,(all on your behalf of course, since you appear to have completely overlooked it). To that end I will be copying several of my previous posts on this subject from last Friday, onto Totally Plc bulletin boards. I am doing this because you have been so kind in keeping all of us on the R1 boards right up to date for so many months on this particular topic and emphasising how this most important industry change could affect R1s profitability going forward. Im sure that this wont impact on your investment in Totally, after all nothing posted on a bulletin board ever does. I can see lots of challenges going forward for Totally. They are a relative minnow in a competitive field that is starved of cash and where tenders need to be cut to the bone to be won leaving little or no margins. Outsourcing contract awards by the NHS are fickle leaving little or no security of tenure for the winners. Capita is a big player here but often in the news for its outsourcing failures and the industry get a bad press. Contracts change so often that, quote£ Potentially a GP with a working life as a Principal of 30 years could, with a five-year contract setup, have to deal with SIX changes of provider. I could go on and on, so more to follow (if necessary). Bmac Quote. NHS England has said it will hold outsourcing company Capita £to account£ over the nationwide disruption to general practice that has occurred since its takeover of primary care support services. Quote, £We believe the creation of these wholly owned subsidiary companies within NHS trusts throughout England could open a Pandora£s box of the Carillion type collapses across the health services, resulting in poorer patient care and a bad deal for patients and staff.£" | barkboo
