15/4/2020 13:19 | - CEO, CFO and Non-Executive Directors salaries reduced by 50% and implementing significant salary reductions for senior employees remaining in work - Receiving the Government-backed twelve-month business rates relief - Deferring all PAYE and VAT payments from 18 March 2020 for three months - Assistance from suppliers regarding contract suspensions and extended credit and payment terms - Negotiations with landlords regarding rent relief - All capital expenditure cut These measures have significantly reduced the Group's weekly running costs to approximately GBP0.4m per week 400k burn a week and £18m debt. Ouch! placing at 5p to raise £5m. hahaha so freakin diluting and wont last 3 months | tjbird
15/4/2020 13:17 | what price pubs no one can go to, just rents to be paid on emety buildings Play that funky music white boy | tjbird

15/4/2020 08:21 | So Castleford have just offloaded their 20%ish in the last week or so....who has picked it up the other side I wonder as that is a big old stake? DYOR | qs99
10/4/2020 22:59 | Getting near the time to have a small punt on these methinks. I doubt the lockdown will last much longer now...maybe mid to end may I reckon. I think COVID will still be around of course but the medicine is beginning to kill the patient and business will collapse if it goes longer. The government is aware of this ...as the papers today report....and must also be looking at Sweden. Bars and restaurants all open and deaths falling to just 77 today. | barnetpeter
21/3/2020 00:18 | The government has helped a lot.....but they wont cover all the costs here. Banks may lend up to guarantee levels albeit with reluctance. But no revenue from tonight....they are not known for food so takeaways are not on. They need an emergency takeover and thats still possible at something like 25 to 30p. A lot of bars for 15 million quid. So all is not lost and a rumour could see a sharp spike. A lot of ftse 250 stocks spiked today...never seen so many 30 per cent rises. So you never know.. Not my choice to punt on though with that debt. | barnetpeter
20/3/2020 23:15 | If this one goes a whole lot more will go under as well. My guess is that the landlords will come to some agreement re rent deferral. If the tenant goes bust they won’t be earning any money from the property. Other pub groups are in a much worse state | boll
20/3/2020 22:43 | The Group's net debt position as at the end of week 37 (last week) was GBP10.5m | onjohn
20/3/2020 22:40 | looks bust material uncertainty. going concern audit opinion | onjohn
19/3/2020 13:24 | At 16p its market cap is £8 million. Given it operates 74 bars that equates to £108,000 per bar. Would I pay that much to buy one venue? With no customers, only enough cash in the till to pay the next couple of weeks' expenses, and despetately trying to negotiate a rent holiday with the landlord? No way! In my opinion this stock should surely be trading at 1.6p not 16p, to reflect the risk it may be on the verge of bankruptcy! | buffett9
18/3/2020 17:02 | yes they might but ten million debt? No possible equity raise so it might survive with government help but all current shareholders will be wiped I guess. | barnetpeter
17/3/2020 16:29 | Hopefully the measures the government brings in will help them to keep ticking over even if they effectively have to shut down temporarily. It is not like they are losing business to a better run competitor. Everyone in the sector is affected in the same way, and I can't see how it helps anyone to let thousands of otherwise viable businesses go bust. | spot1034
17/3/2020 16:13 | 24p. Wow. I reckon below 10p or even 5p here is possible in the long weeks ahead. Can this company cope with lockdown. I doubt any business they do in their bars will cover costs. Food....do you order it? It might last a while but you need punters to buy it. | barnetpeter

28/1/2020 13:57 | interesting at these levels.... not that much more expensive than a few months ago but the news is looking ebtter. i want to see that 'EBITDA' turning into normal profit though. does anyone know the forecast for profit for the year after this one? | ssahoy18
27/1/2020 11:54 | Maybe they think people will be drinking less in public places given outbreak of virus in China! | qs99
27/1/2020 11:04 | Is this a shameless tree shake to fill an order? Seems an overdone drop after a decent trading update. | waspfactory
16/1/2020 09:32 | Thanks ST. As I said, I think that corporate raiders may now start to look at RBG again given that solid set of results. IMO this should be NOrth of £1....DYOR | qs99
15/1/2020 08:35 | May help corporate raiders put a value on it IMO DYOR | qs99 |
