Taken from the RNS dated 30.11.16

"Revolution Bars Group plc, the operator of the Revolution and Revolución de Cuba brands announces today that it will have successfully opened four Revolución de Cuba bars in the last eight weeks of 2016 as part of its stated expansion plans to open five new sites per financial year".

The update on 19.01.16 stated that "the Group opened four new Revolución de Cuba bars in H1 FY17 in Harrogate, Aberdeen, Reading and Glasgow. We are currently on site at our fifth development in Southend on Sea which is due to open in H2". In other words 5 this year.

There was a mention of a plan to take over a larger number of outlets last year but that it had fallen through following Brexit. At this point you can only assume 5 per year.

Glaws - any detail or a link to that info. Broker note perhaps? The only one due to open in H2 is Southend and yes I did state that the 4 bars from end of H2 will contribute a full year.I notice they have no bars in Dublin and Belfast

Haven't four just opened in a matter of two months? That will be all in 2017's numbers to start the ball rolling (out).

Paul - what roll out ? They haven't announced new bats for 6 months?LFL - 2% and no visible roll out except Southend plus full year revenues for the other 4 from 2016. The share price had a good run 160-230 but the retrace is a result of the above imo esp when investors can put their money into FEVR, Boo, Cake, Som, SFR, Tap and other extremely high growth stocks some higher divs

From last year's accounts:

"The living wage affects a small proportion of the workforce."

More generally on wage cost inflation they also say:

"Whilst there have been wage increases above rates of inflation, recent increases have been more in line with inflation and have therefore been covered by increases in the sales prices paid for by the customer. Future increases would be treated in the same
way."

Staff costs last year (including directors) amounted to £33.5m, around 28% of total revenues of £119.5m.

"living" wage bill going up 4% in April ( not to mention associated employer NI and work based pension contributions)

With only 2% like for like growth, maybe the prices can go up or they can speed up a roll out?

It certainly looks to be the case. This is on my Watchlist but I am looking for the price to stabilise before I consider any potential entry point.

BPC10 - check out the news items around that time. Revolution Bars came to the market then. RBG was used as a ticker for a different company before then so there is no relevance to the share price "drop". It never happened.

What happened in Feb 15 to make the share price drop from £6 to £1.50?
