Melody you can thank shares mag for yesterdays pop, noticed it on the news stands in WHS waiting for a train today.

Brief glimpse said it was one of 6 steady defensive stocks it favours, making mention of the stated 5% growth in business y.o.y I think. Couple of paras anyway. Yes Charles Skinner a top bloke, certainly owe him myself :)

rigger - except for the spread - 5p today. Robbie Burns bought in which probably explains all the buys today. I've been holding since 80p - caught my eye because Charles Skinner is running the show.

just having a look back in, this stock is clearly trading within a rising channel, if the volumes were not still so relatively small at times, it would be a traders dream.

Yep - this is going up on very small volume so I can only assume there MMs are trying to satisfy a large buy order. If so look out for an RNS shortly. Either that or perhaps a whisper of strong trading.

Hjfe I'm sure long term holders will continue do well, will keep an eye out early new year if only for a little trade, as to answer Rogers question year end trading update came Jan 19th last year, so expect similar time frame without asking. Either way happy to leave some for the next person :-)

Still here, still holding. Bought most of mine in the MVW days, and happy to sit on them for a while longer. This has been one of my better investments, I have to say.

Did anyone receive their interim divi yesterday? I haven't receive mine. My broker is TD. Normally they are very good, and receive it same day

HJFe been a fantasic ride here with you since the MVW change, but let me last few dregs go few weeks back to bank all my gains.

Charles Skinner has done a great job and may look back in and even reinvest but staying light on stocks next year, needed to sort my tax affairs early.

Good luck for the future, a steady hand here.

yeah skinner is the reason i am here. invested in bdh successfully under his tenure. i see we went ex div a couple of days ago for an extra 0.4p.... not massive but all helps.

Know he lent a few quid to the hornets and had history in Belize. Didn't know much about Impellam, other than similarities of ownership structure at time I came here, aside from that, I think he just got the right man in(Skinner), to steer this ship more than anything; main reason I stuck around anyway.
