Went to a frankie and bennies on Monday. Nice looking place, very smart. Pretty empty though. My carbonara took ages, was watery, and tasted the same? The bruschetta and coffee OK. They had the photographers in taking pictures of food... Not sure what they can do to turn it around? Perhaps just copy cheesecake factory from the US?

Has anyone looked into the business rates impact based on the distribution of TRG sites? Central London will be impacted the most but could beneficial for the sites outside.

A retail industry body urges ministers to focus on trade deals that will not put household budgets at risk from higher costs

........Average duty on imported meat could rise to 27% if the UK ended up trading under World Trade Organisation rules, the British Retail said in a letter to International Trade Secretary Liam Fox.

Tasty is trading on EV/EBITDA of 15x and they have put through a proportionately bigger impairment charge compared to restaurant group and the share price pretty much doesn't get hammered. I just don't understand why RTN gets valued at <6x EBITDA whilst all the peers get 10-15x.

Ths share is currently very cheap with EV/EBITDA at 5.7 and I expect to see the LFLs dramatically improve in the second half.

Currently EV/EBITDA is c5.9x which is v.undervalued for a restaurant and pub business and the balance sheet is strong. I expect ebitda of £130m for 2016 and the dividend to grow next yr.

The large number of sites in leisure sites stand to benefit from the film release schedule in The second half. For Apr, May and Jun uk cinema admissions were down 13% vs Q2 2015 but Q3 is likely to be significantly better. So far Jul16 16.6m Aug16 18.1m (jul15 15.9m aug15 14.4m sep15 9.2m)
